"In the flesh, all these elements exist, nurturing, strengthening, cleansing, transforming…" With each word spoken, power spilled forth from my mouth so that an echo of my voice reverberated around the lavender field in a groovy way.

To symbolize the flesh, I cut my palm with Hrunting's blade and let a drop of blood drip down onto the ghostly line.

'For the blood is the life,' I thought happily.

Right on cue, the rumbling began.

I couldn't see it from my spot on the opposite side of the magic circle, but I imagined something groovy had just happened to the runestone in the southmost position of the inverted pentacle. If so, then I had effectively turned it away from its dark purpose of slaving the elements to evil.

Did this mean the deed was done?
