The Exorcism of a Vampire Lord, Part 2

Admittedly, getting to level thirty this quickly was a great achievement, one that would make Liara all kinds of jealous since it had taken her forever to break through that wall. Still, you'd think absorbing the last bit of essence of a dead vampire lord might earn me some boons, but no cigar. 

"Even in death, Vlad Tepes was a xenophobe," I sighed. 

How I wish I could get something more out of this dungeon besides the few items I managed to scrounge up. 

"Pinning my hopes on that treasure room," I grumbled. "At least it's got mountains of gold." 

While I complained about the lackluster rewards earned from a lackluster dungeon boss encounter, the doors behind me groaned open once more. That's when it struck, a rumbling in my stomach that heralded worse things. 

"Wisdom!" Liara called excitedly.
