The Exorcist, Part 2

Shiny gold coins and gems flew out in all directions from the force of my swing. Treasure chests were flung aside too, and I was pretty sure Liara had to go find cover to avoid the strong pressure of air I'd sent twirling around the expansive treasure room.

What I found most surprising, however, was the effect my 'Almighty Smite' had on Fenrisúlfr.

As the eight-foot werewolf was flung back, the demon wolf's body unraveled as if he were a coat of paint being washed off a toy. Thick fur and muscle came undone, revealing what lay underneath—the teenage boy who looked exactly like Fenrisúlfr's human face but with hair the color of straw instead of freshly falling snow.

He gazed back at me with horror clear in his expression just before the wolf's spirit exerted dominance on the poor kid and the vision of him vanished once more, devoured by the same muscle, sinew, and fur that then stitched itself back together to make the werewolf whole once again.
