"Yes young mistress, I will end the call now," K uttered and Abigail heard the beeping of the line in her ears.
After the call ended, Abigail's gaze flew toward the door and she stared at it for quite some numbering of time before sitting upright on her bed. She wondered who was standing at the door of her room and listening to her conversation, brushing it off her shoulders she laid back down in the bed and closed her eyes when she heard a knock.
She frowned and scowled before muttering "You may come in." The door pushed open and Elias walked into the room with his hands in his pockets, his usually styled hair was looking messy and tousled. Abigail had her eyes closed when he came in so she did not know it was him, "Who are you and why are you here?" Abigail questioned.
"Me," Elias responded in a monotone taking his seat on the couch without asking her for permission to sit. Abigail's eyes shit opened when she heard his voice, she immediately sat upright on her bed and stared at him.
"What are you doing here?" Abigail asked when her eyes widened, "You are not here to kill me, are you? Let me tell you even if you try to kill me you won't be able to." Abigail remarked her mind running through different thoughts.
"I wonder if you have a brain or you are being controlled by a remote or something. Why would I come to kill you?" Elias threw his question at her, he cocked his brow wondering what was giving her those silly thoughts in her head.
"Whatever I do not feel like arguing with you, so what are you doing here? Do you need anything, oh is its time to go yet?" Abigail asked standing up on her feet, she picked up her bag ready to walk out of the room.
"Who are you?" Elias inquired standing up to stand in front of her, he was talking to her with a head so he could easily see the center of her head. "When I mean who are you, I want to know your real identity. Tell me why you also get married to me? You aren't who you pose to be are you?".
Abigail's eyes dipped and a glint flashed through before it got covered up, she raised her eyes and stared at him taking two steps back away from him. "What do you mean who I am? I am me, Abigail, that's who I am. I work as a waitress, all I want is a quiet and peaceful life and I also will continue working as a waitress."
"I am a simple girl with dreams and ambitions but realizing then in this world is very hard, I live my life on my terms and no one else has the right to intrude on that. And that is me, Abigail! I am no one else but myself." Abigail muttered gazing into his eyes, she turned around and walked out of the room.
She was not in the mood to speak with him about herself, everything she had told him was true but she had omitted a few pieces of her life that could land him in danger. She sighed as she climbed down the stairs but it was better telling a lie to save a life than speaking the truth.
Elias came down after some time to find Abigail sitting on the couch, when she had spoken about herself to him he could tell she wasn't lying. She had told him the truth about who she was and who she dreamed to be, suddenly he felt bad for the efforts he had wasted and how mean has been to her.
"If you are ready can we go?" Abigail muttered standing up to her feet and he nodded his head, although his face was expressionless he had lots of thoughts running through his head. He followed after Abigail and got in the car with her, the driver drove out of the mansion towards the shopping mall. Elias opened his phone and typed a message on it before shutting it off.
As they both drive out of the mansion, another car drove into the Villa, which was old man Josh's car. The car came to a halt at the entrance of the Villa, his driver opened the door and climbed down the car. He had heard from his informant what had happened here the previous day he was here to scold that grandson of his.
~~~~~ Emerald Shopping Mall ~~~~~
Emerald is a brand under the universal empire, they had associates like hospitals, parks, schools, clubs, and shopping malls It also had a clothing brand in the states and not in country B.
The ride to the shopping mall was painstakingly awful for Abigail and the driver, the awkward air inside the car had almost made them suffocate. The driver stopped in front of the building and ran out to open the door for the young master and the young mistress, the door was opened and they both climbed down from the car.
Abigail glanced at the surrounding of the mall and nodded in partial satisfaction, she had seen something much bigger than this. "Let's go in," Elias muttered and she nodded coming out of her thoughts, she turned her head around trying to catch a glimpse of K but she could not find her.
As they strode in through the door, a young man dashed towards them and bumped into both Elias and Abigail. Abigail was quick to hold her stance, she shrugged Elias's hand off her shoulder and nodded her head indicating she was fine. Another person ran in the middle of them both and pushed Abigail and Elias further away, Abigail frowned.
As she got ready to speak she felt the weight on her shoulders increase and glanced at her bag to find needles in it, 'Oh so that was K, what a dramatic young kid.' Abigail thought in her heart.
Elias also had a frown on his face but he shrugged it off his shoulders, he was going to instruct security to tighten around the mall.
"Are you alright?" He asked Abigail one more time and when she hummed at him, he nodded and gestured towards the way.
In a particular store at a corner, a young-looking woman with dark blue eyes hair, and a slightly round face which portrayed her to be cute was sitting on the couch retouching her makeup. She had heard that Young master Josh would be visiting today, so she came to the store, especially for him.
From the corner of her eyes, she saw him walking into the store and a bright smile appeared on her face, she quickly put her makeup things away and stood up on her feet walking towards him. She failed to notice or rather choose to ignore the woman walking beside him.
"Young master Josh, it's so nice to see you after a long time." Sung Kang muttered, standing in his way and stretching her hands toward him for a handshake.
Elias glanced at the hand in front of him, he cocked his head to the side and tried to remember who the woman was seeing as she was addressing him so familiarly.
