Defeating The Commander's Crew

Ethan made his way to the boss, he couldn't keep watching people get backstabbed by someone they trusted.

He had finally gotten to where the hunters were attacking the boss, seeing as the goblin was not focused, he jumped to the air and stabbed the goblin in one of it's eye.

The goblin was caught by surprise so it didn't have time to dodge the attack which was why it's eye was now a bloody mess.

The goblin screamed finally noticing what had happened to it's eye.

"Attack it from it's blindspot now!" the man with the commander's aura said, the party of hunters seeing as someone had given them a chance to take down the boss attacked the boss at the same time.

Ethan, the one who gave the chance was now at the back of the assassin, waiting for him to make a move and then attack him.

The assassin had seen that the hunters were now more concentrated on the boss more than their surroundings and was about to attack the one close to him when he felt the hand he was about to use to attack was no more.

The hand now laid down on the cold ground, his weapon also on the ground.

The assassin couldn't believe what he saw, he was so surprised that he was about to scream forgetting he wasn't supposed to bring everyone out of their riled up state, but before he could yell he felt his throat got pierced.

He saw something before his throat got pierced it was like a shadow and he still couldn't believe what was going on.

The man fell to the ground trying to beg who or what was trying to kill him but he couldn't say a single word making tears drop, he wasn't ready to die but as he said his last thoughts he died due to too much blood loss.

Ethan had finally killed the man who was taking away people's lives and had now returned to his team finally giving them the go ahead to attack and some minutes later the fight was over.

Hunters were now sitting on the ground to catch their breath when someone screamed.

Everyone there turned to the person who screamed, all seeing an horrific sight.

It was the death of the assassin and also the others.

"Jeremy!!!"

The woman who had shouted ran to the body of the assassin holding him in her arms, it was the healer from the commander's party.

"Jack, didn't I tell you this was a dangerous ordeal? now Jeremy is dead because of your greed!"

She couldn't hold her anger in, exposing the reasons why they came to the dungeon.

"I told you we could just have fought in the dungeon as a normal party but you said it was better for us to team up with the other parties and then kill them all lat..."

Before she could complete her words the man named Alex stabbed her in the throat, making her die the same way as Jeremy.

At this point, people had started to look at Alex in disbelief unable to believe the words of the woman who had spoken before, but seeing his actions of how he killed the woman it had made them realize the truth.

"Hahahahahaha so you guys actually thought hunters could team up didn't you, you felt that we could trust each other well you were all wrong and I will kill you piece of trash and take the boss loot for myself"

Alex had started to walk to people who had fallen to fatigue, he walked tiredly, he had also gotten tired from the fight but his greed was what kept him going.

He was about to stab a hunter when an arrow was shot to him directly going through his heart.

Alex coughed a mouthful of blood surprised to see he had just been shot, but by who?, he turned and to his surprise saw more arrows coming towards him.

He couldn't dodge the rain of arrows and was struck by every single one killing him on the spot.

The people in the boss room turned their heads to the direction where the arrows were shot from and saw a group of four also seeing the archer who had saved their lives.

The group of four head out of the boss room when someone called out.

"Wait! please we would like to know the name of the party who saved us"

"You won't be seeing us again so there is no point in telling you who we are"

Ethan said to the hunter in a cold voice which sent chills down the spine of the people there.

The four of them had now left the dungeon and collected their payments and now headed to an inn.

They found one which looked comfortable for travellers and entered the place.

"Hello to you fellow guests, what may I do for you today"

The receptionist asked with a smile on her face but her thoughts were different

'Just a few commoners who have come here to beg for a room let me just keep a smile on my face and not show my disgust'

Amelia had pried into the mind of the young lady and heard her thoughts making Amelia's thought of her take a drastic turn.

"Dear commoner, we are purchasing four rooms bring the keys out and don't waste our time" Amelia said to the lady looking at her in disdain.

"Well I'm sorry but...four rooms?!"

She was about to 'politely' tell them off when she heard they were purchasing four rooms she hurriedly brought out the keys and gave it to them uncaring of the words which Amelia had said.

Amelia snatched the keys from the hands of the lady and threw a bag of gold coins to the lady's face which the lady caught as fast as she could.

"Was that necessary?" Ethan asked Amelia when they had gotten upstairs.

He knew what the lady was thinking as he looked at her reactions but didn't act on it.

Amelia just gave the other three the keys, harrumphed and went into her own room.

A few minutes later when everyone was freshened up, Ethan had called the two boys to tell them what they had asked him in the dungeon.

"So I know you guys want to know why I act different sometimes well I'm going to tell you now"

Ethan said to the boys which brought more curiosity to their faces.

"Well tell us already it's not like we have all day, I'm starving here"

Matthew said to Ethan urging him to talk fast and not waste their time

"Well the reason I act differently is that..."

He was about to tell them when Amelia barged into the room

"What are you guys still doing here, aren't any of you hungry"

She said to the three guys calling them to eat lunch as it was not right to talk on an empty stomach.

Matthew couldn't wait and went downstairs following Amelia and Leo followed right after.

Ethan sighed and followed the three to the closest restaurant to their inn where they all ate until they were full.

The three headed back to the inn, Amelia had told them she was going to buy some stuff they would need for their trip so they didn't question her and just went back.

They were now at the inn and they all walked to Ethan's room still wanting to know his reason for acting differently sometimes.

They all entered his room and sat down on the bed while Ethan stood, ready to explain himself waiting for the explanation he was about to give.

"So the reason why I act differently sometimes is because of my Personalities"

"Huh?" both Leo and Matthew said as they were confused to what Ethan had just said.

Ethan sighed again not knowing how he was going to explain himself to his friends.

He walked around the room trying to find the right words to use in placing his words right so they could understand.

Leo and Matthew gave him time, they wanted to know what he was talking about and they saw how hard it was for him to say his words.

Amelia had already come back and had entered the room seeing what was happening.

"What is going on?" she asked both Leo and Matthew as she thought they would have a clue to why Ethan was pacing around the room looking confused.

They both shrugged not knowing what to tell her.

She then sat down on the chair next to the desk and waited for Ethan to say something

"I've gotten the word"

Ethan then stood in front of all of them and breathed in and out so he could get his words out.

"Well then say it already"

Leo was now getting impatient, he was tired of Ethan wasting their time when they could have all been in bed now as it was night.

"Okay, so the reason I act differently sometimes is because...I have three personalities"

"Eh?"

Both Leo and Matthew said now wanting to find out what he meant by that.
