My eyes shot open as they finally rested on the man I was supposed to marry, the last man I would ever consider if I had a choice, the last man I'd rather die than marry.

My boss. Mr Liam Richards.

"Uh Hell no." I said out loud as I tried to walk away from the alter.

"If you leave now then I would consider this as the Hudson family going back on their word and all investments so far will be withdrawn and charges will be pressed towards the company and your family." Liam said.

I watched as he had this oddly satisfying look on his face as if he'd just won some sort of mind game, I looked back to the crowd behind me and within them I saw Patricia scowling at me, Veronica already in tears but worst of all was the glimmer of hope in my father's eyes.

I took a deep breath turning around, I told myself that this was all for my mother and nothing else, I would do for my father this one last favour with my life.

There were maids on both sides as Cyra made her way to the end of the stairs, Ray stood in the middle with a breathtaking smile.

"The sir has arranged that you be taken care of for tonight's event. If you don't mind, these ladies will help you get ready, and please don't take too long." Ray said.

Cyra was too stunned to answer, the ladies quietly took her away to one of the guest rooms, prepared a bath and got other things ready. Cyra got into the bath still lost in all of it until five minutes later she was called on, the ladies ere ready for her.

After another five minutes of soaking her stress away, Cyra came out of the bathroom, immediately she was swarmed by strange women she didn't know, one was dry blowing her hair, another working on her feet, another on her hand, it was as good as a spa or better.
