Stupidity Knows No Bounds (2)

Ayla had been confined in a room with white walls with only a bed and a small window high up near the ceiling. She had lost count of the days since she first entered the mental institution. She wondered if she would ever be able to escape and return to the outside to see the world again.

She was denied her freedom, and Alistair had forbidden her any contact with the outside world. Everyone kept saying that she had lost her mind after giving birth and was mentally unstable. Of course, none of these were true, but no one bothered to listen to Ayla's plea as she cried for help.

When she regained consciousness a few days ago in this place, Ayla quickly realized what Alistair was up to. With her being deemed mentally unstable, Alistair had taken advantage of her vulnerability and confined her in a psychiatric facility against her will. He would probably use this excuse to deny her the custody of their newborn son and divorce her. Her entire body trembled at the thought.
