Tang Zhixi narrowed her eyes, her anger flaring up instantly. "Different? That's it?" she fumed.

Pei Xingcheng nodded with an innocent smile. "Well, is there anything else that I was supposed to say?" he asked, pretending to be innocent. Didn't she like teasing him always? Now, it was his turn to tease her.

"Absolutely nothing," she spoke through gritted teeth and turned her face away from him.

Seeing her cute, puffed-up face, Pei Xingcheng couldn't hold it in any longer. Without even thinking, he raised his hand to poke her cheeks and chuckled, "Miss Ghost, you look so adorable! Almost like an angry hedgehog."

Tang Zhixi was not impressed by the comparison and smacked his arm while glaring at him. "Xingcheng, how dare you compare me to a hedgehog?!" she protested. "Do I look like an hedgehog to you? Is that how you praise a beautiful woman?!"
