We are the Beserkers.

The journey to the Beserker headquarters unfolded over about three hours, navigating through the winding mountainous terrain. As they arrived, Otto welcomed Luna to the HQ, where she would be spending the next three months. He mentioned an upcoming induction speech for all new Beserkers, to be led by the President. Luna, slightly in awe, observed the modernity of the building, realizing it was on par with the facilities she had seen at the agency.

Expressing her surprise, Luna jokingly remarked to Otto, "How do you guys manage to have such high-class facilities? Aren't you supposed to be the embodiment of barbarians?" Otto's response was a cold reminder of Beserkers' prowess, "You really don't know anything about us. We boast the highest mission completion rate in any organization, and our services come at a premium because we're exceptional at what we do. It's the main revenue for this country, considering we don't engage in trade with other nations. We invest heavily in our hitmen, and you're lucky to be part of this. You'll be a recognized name across all organizations once you're done with us."

Otto guided Luna through the headquarters towards the meeting room, underscoring the significance of her journey ahead. Luna, amid towering Beserkers, couldn't help but feel a bit out of place. The building seemed to emanate a sense of toughness and efficiency, much like the agency. Luna, embracing a lighter moment, questioned Otto about the identity of a striking woman in the room. She was notably shorter than the rest but possessed a beauty that seemed incongruous with the image of a hitman.

Whispering to Otto, Luna asked, "Who's that?" Otto responded, "That's Lara, the person you'll be partnered with for the next few months." Luna, surprised, whispered back, "There's no way she's a Beserker. She's too pretty." Otto, with a knowing smile, assured Luna, "Wait until you see her in action. She's a cold-blooded killer." As Luna absorbed this revelation, the reality of her new partnership began to sink in, along with the anticipation of the challenges and revelations that lay ahead in her collaboration with the enigmatic Lara.

The talk was about to start, everyone started to tune in. The president was a sky scraper for a man defintely about 7ft and he was huge, with a massive scar across his face. "Hello, my fellow beserkers, you guys are the best of the best from this years intake. you did very well to get here, that alone is already a massive achievement. However your life as you known it, will never be the same again.

As berserkers, we stand apart, embodying a spirit forged in the fires of unparalleled strength and unyielding ferocity. Each of you gathered here today epitomizes these qualities, reflecting the essence of our noble lineage. Our pride swells not merely from physical prowess, but from the indomitable will that courses through our veins.

In the crucible of battle, we are the vanguards, the relentless force that shatters all obstacles in our path. It is this very spirit that beckons you, compelling you to heed the call of duty with unwavering resolve. But remember, brethren, our strength lies not solely in the sinew of our muscles, but in the fortitude of our minds.

In the heat of combat, emotions can be our greatest adversaries, clouding judgment and sowing doubt where there should be only certainty. Thus, we implore you to guard against the seductive whispers of sentimentality, for it is the cold, steely resolve that forges champions from mere mortals.

Let the mission be your lodestar, guiding your every action with purpose and clarity. Let not the turbulent seas of emotion sway your course, for it is in the calm waters of disciplined resolve that true victory lies.

As berserkers, we are bound by a sacred covenant, a pact of allegiance to our cause and to one another. Together, we are an unstoppable force, a tempest that rages across the battlefield, leaving naught but triumph in our wake.

So stand tall, my comrades, and let the fire of our conviction burn bright within you. For we are not merely warriors, but the very embodiment of destiny's fury, bound by oath and forged in the crucible of legend. That is all for today guys, you will each be assigned to squads, please bare in minds these are not squads in which you will be participating in missions with, its main purpose is for briefings and to make sure you kept on the right track. Dismissed"

Luna was assigned to the squad in which Otto is the squad leader, Lara was also part of this squad along with 4 others, "Hello everyone, welcome to Squad 3, i hope each one of you guys now understand what it means to be part of the Berserker organisation. But anyways lets get down to business. Im sure each of you guys are aware that usually we operate in one and two man teams for missions. Most of the times you will be paired up with someone from this organisation, it can vary from mission to mission. Its selected by the requirements of the particular mission and who will be the best partner necessary in order to achieve mission completion. However in some circumstances, you can be paired up with agents from the Agency organisation over in Labre, if they hire us for missions, which happens very often. We have a good relationship with them over there". Someone raised their hands up to ask, "What about the other organisations, will we ever partner up with them" "Good question" Said Otto. That is only possible through the agency, they can team you up with someone from another organisation, but its strictly through them, we almost never conduct businesses from the other 4 organisations directly. Especially not the Beast organisation, you will never work with them, as we have had conflict with them for decades, but i will touch on that shortly"

"In our organization, our operational format closely mirrors that of the agency, a structure many entities adopt. Here, we cohabit these grounds, and you'll find your residences situated across the lake. You'll soon be escorted there to settle in. Your presence is required five days a week, with the freedom to depart for two days when missions aren't scheduled. Typically, missions span one to three days. On non-mission days, rigorous training awaits. Continuous improvement is paramount for our hitmen; it's the linchpin of our organizational success.

Before mission assignments, we need to evaluate each of your strengths and abilities thoroughly. This data is then stored in our hitmen database, accessible to the agency as well. This facilitates analysis for mission suitability. Assessments will be conducted through live simulations using our state-of-the-art virtual reality systems."

The astonishment on everyone's faces was palpable; the revelation of Beserker Organization's advanced technology was unexpected.

"For those curious about the source of our advanced technologies, credit is due to one of the world's finest scientists, Mr. Parus. The agency offered him millions to join their ranks, but his allegiance lies with Nordia and our organization. You may have the privilege of meeting him someday."

"That's plenty of information to absorb for today; I don't want to overwhelm you. I'll personally escort you to your residences. At the entrance, you'll find a reception area where the receptionist will allocate your sections and rooms."

Led by Otto, the squad departed from headquarters, crossing a bridge spanning a vast lake. The journey to the residences took about ten minutes. The surroundings were awe-inspiring, showcasing modern architecture and beauty. Scores of Berserkers traversed between the headquarters and residences, indicating substantial investment in this enclave, rendering it more advanced than the surrounding country.

The residence complex sprawled expansively, dominated by towering structures. A reception area greeted them upon arrival, with a lengthy queue formed as everyone arrived simultaneously. Luna and Lara found themselves assigned to the same section, considering Lara will be looking after Luna during her time here. Otto instructed everyone to reconvene at the headquarters' front by 7 am before bidding them farewell.
