Father Son Moment

ARSEN'S POV

Teon kept swinging at me I kept dodging or using my wooden sword to block his attacks. However, I never directly attacked back. We went on for a while. Ayan watched from the distance concerned. Teon's instructor also watched in awe as we spared.

Teon didn't back down he kept on going he was determined to get me. He attacked again and again each time he missed.

I started to sense he was getting tired when there was a slight delay in his movements and decreased power in his attacks but he didn't want to stop. The determination continued and I'll admit I was only getting more and more impressed by his stamina but I didn't want to wear him out any longer so it had to come to an end.

The next time he lunged at me I knocked his sword out of his hand and tripped him so he fell to the ground. I pointed my sword at him as he lifted his head up.  Through gritted teeth, he frowned as he looked up at me realizing he'd lost.
