I had just tried to kiss the Emperor. I began to process that as I looked at him after he placed me on the ground.

"Ayan I do truly care for you," He told me as he held onto me. "The more I spend time with you the more the feelings I have get stronger." He told me. I found myself blushing as I continued to look into his eyes.

"I-I know you do and I feel the same way as well," I told him.  I found it difficult to say, not because I thought he was lying or anything I know he didn't mean to hurt me or make me feel rejected. I was just feeling shy and embarrassed that perhaps I had disgusted him in some way to make him pull away.  But I couldn't let things get too awkward between us I didn't want him to feel more guilty than he needed to. As could tell he really didn't mean to hurt me.
