A question to think about

Theo's intention was never to antagonize everyone by rubbing the uncomfortable truth right in their faces. But he still did so, all for the sake of the very approach that he picked for his interaction with the Crusaders earlier on.

He had to be seen… and taken somewhat seriously. And what was the better way to do so than to first make everyone around notice him only to then prove his capability?

Talent in craftsmanship, cultivation, or even tactics; it didn't matter. As long as he showed a promise of being a man of ability, the Crusaders would consider him to be too valuable to care about the small details. And thus, they would be more likely not only to treat him better but to ignore the small inconsistencies that would appear in his behavior.

After all, what kind of genius was free of small quirks?
