"You…" Axel muttered as he locked his eyes on Theo's face. Then, despite starting his sentence, he turned silent while staring right into Theo's eyes.
Then, Axel's lips curved into a mix of amusement and irritation.
"You really know your way around words," Axel finally admitted while breathing a long sigh. "But you seem to be quite well-versed in politics too. And that…" The man's face darkened a little. "And that makes me quite worried."
The area turned silent.
The patrons of the restaurant were too damn curious as to how the situation would develop to utter even the tiniest sound.
The youths restrained by the restaurant guards were too scared of how their fate will turn out to make even the smallest noise that would remind everyone of their presence.
As for Axel and Theo, they locked themselves in a contest of stares, ignoring the silence that surrounded them.
