Theo's suggestion

All the way back when Theo immersed himself in the books at the sect library, he learned a tiny little bit about the ongoing conflict.

He never found out any details about the reason behind the war, any details about the military, or even who the sect's opponent was.

All of that, the young man learned on the day the invasion befell the city.

What he did know, however, was that this war continued for seven years straight by now.

'And there are only three types of wars that could create a deadlock and even lead to the development of frontlines,' Theo thought, taking some time to figure out how to reply to Veila's masters' words.

'The first type of war is a total war, a conflict that treats about the very survival of either of the group. And quite obviously, that's not the case for the sect nor for the crusaders.'
