Chapter 4: Da~te, Da~te, time for a Da~te! (The Vampire and Yami’s Date Part 1)

"Ohiyo~, Everyone! It's your favorite cuddly crybaby vampire, Princess Lily! After a wonderful cuddle session with Lucy to calm our emotions, it's time for my da~te with Yami! Let's start where Yami comes to pick me up.

"Good evening, Lily. Did you have a great time on your date with Lucy? Oh, wait, why do you look like you've been crying? Are you alright?" Yami asked, concern evident in her voice.

"Hey, Yami. Yes, I'm fine. Lucy and I just took a trip down memory lane, and it brought tears of joy. I promise I'm okay, Yami. But let's not dwell on that now. It's our time for a date, just you and me. Let's have some fun," I reassured her.

"Very well, Lily. If you say so. I know just the place to lift your spirits and get you in a festive mood. Did you bring your swimsuit like we planned?" Yami asked.

"Oh... shoot, I forgot. I'm sorry, Yami," I admitted, feeling a little disappointed in myself.

"Don't worry, Lily. We can get you one before heading there," Yami suggested, offering a solution.

A mischievous thought crossed my mind. Since I'm always the one getting teased, this is my chance to turn the tables and tease Yami a bit.

"Would you... pick it out for me? I want you to choose the swimsuit you'd like to see me in," I said, my face turning as red as a ruby, feeling a mix of shyness and excitement.

"Su... sure, I can do that. Well then, let's go. Can you still walk comfortably, Lily? I know your body has grown stronger since Mana's incident, but it's still delicate until you finish your training at school," Yami said, expressing her concern.

"Mao... I'm okay, Yami. But... can we link arms and hold hands as we walk?" I requested, feeling a surge of warmth and affection for Yami.

"Hihihi, you're too pure and cute, Lily. Of course, we can link arms and hold hands. I can be a bit overprotective sometimes, but it's only because I care so much for you. Now, let's start our date!" Yami exclaimed.

With a gentle smile, Yami linked her arm with mine, our fingers interlacing as we held hands. Together, we made our way to a clothing merchant's store in the bustling shopping district to find the perfect swimsuit for me.

"Here, Lily. Please try this swimsuit on," Yami suggested, handing me a piece of swimwear.

"Ummah... it's quite cute," I commented, observing the swimsuit in my hands.

I entered the dressing room to try on the swimsuit Yami had chosen for me. It was a jet-black one-piece swimsuit with skirt-like frills on the bottom. The color contrasted beautifully with my long, silvery white hair. A mischievous idea sparked within me.

"Kyaaa... You look absolutely adorable, Lily! I knew this swimsuit would be perfect for you," Yami exclaimed, her eyes shining with delight.

"Kehehe... thank you, Yami. You certainly have excellent taste in clothing. But here's an idea—I'd like to pick out and buy a swimsuit for you too," I suggested, feeling a surge of excitement.

"Well..." Yami hesitated, her cheeks turning slightly pink.

"Is something wrong?" I inquired, sensing her hesitation.

"Very well, but I'll buy the swimsuit myself, okay? So, what swimsuit did you have in mind for me to try on?" Yami asked, agreeing to my proposal.

It's intriguing that my wives never let me buy anything for them during our dates. I'll have to find a way to spoil them in the future. But for now, I should respond to Yami.

"I'd like you to try on the same swimsuit you picked for me, but in a silvery white color. I think it would look stunning on you, with your jet-black hair," I replied, sharing my vision.

"Very well, I'm not a fan of bright colors, but I'll give it a try. It might be pretty neat for us to match," Yami agreed, disappearing into the dressing room to change.

After a brief moment, Yami emerged wearing the swimsuit I had chosen for her. "Well, what do you think, Lily?" Yami asked, a shy expression on her face.

I was momentarily speechless, not because the swimsuit didn't suit Yami, but because she looked breathtakingly beautiful in it. A smile spread across my face as I found my voice.

"No, Yami, don't worry. I was just left completely speechless because you look absolutely stunning," I said, unable to hide my admiration.

"Oooh... thank you, Lily. That means a lot, especially coming from you," Yami replied, her face tinted with a hint of blush.

Unable to contain my affection any longer, I leaned in to kiss Yami. Surprised at first, she quickly melted into the gentle embrace, reciprocating my feelings.

Pulling away, I apologized, "I'm sorry, Yami. You just looked so cute, and I couldn't resist."

Yami blushed even more, her voice slightly trembling as she responded, "Eheheh... Lily said I was cute. It's... it's fine. You caught me by surprise. Now that we have our swimsuits, let's go for a swim."

"Okay, Yami. By the way, where are we going to swim?" I asked, feeling a mix of curiosity and anticipation.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you. We're going to the place where we first met as children, the same place where we became wives and our fates intertwined two and a half years ago," Yami revealed, her smile radiating warmth and nostalgia.
