Ophelia gritted her teeth and held her head up high. As the men holding her applied further pressure, her eyes changed into a sharper, furious golden reptile-like appearance. She had a silver of faith in Nikolai, knowing that he wouldn't harm her brother, but she couldn't help but harbor serious misgivings in the wake of his prior deeds.

Upon hearing Nikolai's words, Yakim's countenance grew gloomy. He had thought that the crowd would disagree, but after a protracted period of eerie silence, the people started to yell and whoop in excitement.

He sighed as he turned to face the stage and saw Nikolai staring at him with a look of utter innocence, as if he had not just casually slaughtered two opponents earlier.

"Any shenanigans would result in the death of your so-called mate." Alexander warned his son, gesturing to his brother to show agreement with Nikolai's statements.
