"You called for me," Nikolai acknowledged. "I find it bothersome."
Time wasn't something Nikolai wanted to waste. He was aware that "conversation" didn't exist between him and his father. Their verbal sparring often resulted in something close to carnage.
By taking his time and walking each step rather than teleporting, Nikolai had made it to the castle's second-highest tower. Making a grand entrance wasn't necessary.
