Ava was standing outside the door when the couple returned making Amelia smile.  She was seeing more of Ava now than she had ever in her whole life, and she was already twenty-two.  Upon seeing the couple, Ava flashed a smile at them. "Welcome, dearest sister." She engulfed Amelia in a hug, and the other pretended to fall for her hug out of courtesy.  She left Amelia and tried to hug Mike, but when she saw the look in his eyes, she drew back with a chuckle. "Welcome back, brother–in–law."


Mike ignored her as if he hadn't heard, and headed inside.  The only reason he was tolerating her was because of Amelia, and he was already in a bad mood thanks to Shawn.
