"What does that mean? Is he talking about your real father or your uncle?" Amelia could barely hold her curiosity, but Mike had no idea. Yet, unlike Amelia, who was flustered about it, he wasn't going to let some strange word shift his focus.

"Let's go visit Anna later. I hope she is doing better."

Amelia nodded. She would always want to visit Anna.

"I hope she is too."

Her phone beeped; it was a message from the group. The girls were going to Bani's and wanted to know if she would like to go. She kissed Mike on the cheek and excused herself.

The moment she got to Bani's, she knew something had happened. Normally, the ladies were chatty, but at the moment, the attention of everyone was on them, and they didn't care, or they were so engrossed in their conversation that they had no idea what was going on around them. They hadn't noticed her walking towards them.
