Chapter 75

There is no doubt that the power of love has always ruled over any form of affection from a family throughout history.

'It is easy for me to relate to Kaveh's feelings.' The thought crossed Dena's mind.

A betrayal of her partner was one of her worst memories throughout her life, and she remembered it with great regret. As with Ryu, her partner also did not beat her nor did he use drugs or alcohol or cheat on her when she was pregnant.

In the end, it was the emotional part that slowly drained all her feelings for him and everyone else around her.

It was the constant blaming and belittling of Dena, along with the lack of concern for her ideas or opinions, the fact that he never listened to her talk about everyday life, the fact that he always put himself first, and even the small matters like his inability to wait for her to eat together or to put aside some food or fruit for her, that led Dena to think that her existence was meaningless.
