Chapter 104: Jax: Give It to Me Straight

"Good." Isach patted my shoulder. "Then let's go figure out a way to get her back."

I remained outside a moment longer, inhaling the fresh air and steeling myself for whatever lay ahead. I hated that Trent and Chloe were being dragged into yet another war. They should be enjoying their lives, raising their daughters. Instead, they'd organized a small army on my behalf.

Repaying everyone for their help would be next to impossible, but that was a problem for a different day. With a heavy breath, I turned and headed into the cabin. The Rose Coven had congregated in the kitchen and dining room while my family filled the living room. I crossed to stand near the end of the couch, directly between my family and the witches. If I wanted their help - and I clearly needed it - then I had to make an honest effort to be nice. Even if I didn't completely trust them yet.

"Why don't you start by telling us what happened and how much you know?" Isach said.
