I rushed out of the barrier without care. It turned out that the people inside could pass through safely.
Krell followed me. He grabbed my hand and was even a little fierce.
"Krell, let me go!" My wrist hurt from his grip.
"No." Krell grabbed me a little harder, and I lost my balance. Gravity forced me to fall towards him.
Just as I closed my eyes to accept Krell's help, a pair of bony hands took mine and yanked me aside.
"Mia, are you okay?" Kasim asked, lowering his head to wipe away the blood Krell had just left on my lips.
"Let go of Mia!" Krell yelled at Kasim.
"No, if I let her go, you'll humiliate her again. She doesn't want to be with you!" Kasim said as he took off his coat and draped it over my shoulders.
I felt so warm...
I just spent so much time with Krell, but he didn't even notice that I was shivering with cold.
Kasim was like an angel!
