Chapter 36: More and More Deception

"What's going on?" I exclaimed. I couldn't believe my eyes. I rushed forward to Kasim and tried to untie him, but the rope around him was so tight that I couldn't untie it at all.

A thought flashed through my mind. "Could Kasim be tied up here by them? No, that couldn't be. How could they be so cruel to a teenager? They must have just discovered Kasim trapped here and planned to save him too," I said to myself.

At this moment, Kasim, who seemed to have fainted, suddenly opened his eyes. His weak appearance really broke my heart.

"Kasim, are you okay..." I gently touched his injured cheek and turned to the men. "Hurry up and untie him!"

"No, they won't untie me." I heard Kasim's weak voice.
