Computer Language Creation and Application

Chen Mo put his books aside in his rented room and returned to bed.

In the past few days, he had dedicated his time to dismantling old mobile phone motherboards to understand their circuitry better. He needed to familiarize himself with the intricacies of mobile phone motherboards since it was a hands-on aspect of his profession.

After days of dedicated work, Chen Mo successfully designed the motherboard for the phone. However, he opted not to manufacture it, as the intricate processes of etching, punching, and soldering the circuit board required professional expertise.

Having handed over the designs for the motherboard and battery size to Zhao Min, Chen Mo no longer involved himself in their production. He left the testing, production, and the upcoming mobile phone system conference in Zhao Min's capable hands.

With the mobile phone design completed, Chen Mo could now focus on his books. His days became more relaxed; sometimes, he went out with Xiao Yu and spent the rest of his time reading at the shop.

After collecting 1,000 books, he still had a long way to go but enough to keep him occupied. However, his efforts thus far have made him read through 300 books.

He knew he had sufficient time to rest before the next busy period began.

Chen Mo closed his eyes and mentally entered the technology library while lying on his bed.

The library appeared before him, massive bookshelves reaching the height of hundreds of meters. Chen Mo always amazes by its vastness.

Sometimes, as he strolled through the bookshelves, he would talk with Shu Lao. Shu Lao would tell him stories about the development of other civilizations and introduce him to countless unimaginable technologies stored on those shelves. There were armors similar to Iron Man, methods to develop superpowers, designs for super spaceships, quantum portals, and even pharmaceutical technologies to extend human life.

If the highest-tier technologies from the library were made into real-world products, the world would go crazy.

Looking around the library, Chen Mo reached the desk and opened a book lying on it.

As soon as he opened the book, Shu Lao's figure appeared before him as a holographic projection in the library.

"Here for some technology?" Shu Lao asked.

"You now have two options: random selection and free choice. Which one would you like to use first?" Shu Lao asked.

He was granted random selection because of [trainee] permissions, which allowed him to get one random book once a month. However, Chen Mo hesitated to use it since the first random selection gave him a rather unexpected book: " Ultra-thin rubber barrier production process." which left him with some lingering discomfort.

Despite the lingering shadows from the previous random selection, Chen Mo decided to try it again. He figured that he wouldn't return empty-handed with a free choice still available. The unpredictability of random selection was akin to buying a lottery ticket, never knowing what technology would be bestowed upon him.

"I'll go with the random selection first," Chen Mo said firmly.

As soon as he spoke, the air seemed to be filled with tiles again, forming a dense array of various books, each dazzling to behold.

The books started spinning slowly, and Chen Mo's heart raced. He silently prayed for a useful technique to appear.

After a brief moment, the spinning books stopped, transforming into a book that fell into Shu Lao's hands.

Upon seeing the book's cover, Chen Mo was taken aback.

"Human Reproductive Supplementary Formula"?

Pharmacy? Human Reproductive Supplementary? What kind of medicine was this? Did it even count as technology? The name seemed rather peculiar.

An ominous feeling washed over Chen Mo as he stared at the book.

"What kind of medicine is this?" Chen Mo pointed to the book.

"You've got quite lucky," Shu Lao chuckled happily. "This is something good."

"For now, I'm not delving into the medical field, so this formula isn't useful to me. Can you tell me more about it?" Chen Mo's unease intensified upon hearing Shu Lao's laughter.

"In simple terms, it's an aphrodisiac."

Chen Mo felt as if he had been struck by lightning. His face turned red, and he couldn't believe his misfortune. Once again, he had stumbled upon an obscure technology. He now believed that random selection was a colossal trap.

" You're really lucky," Shu Lao continued to laugh.

" lucky? But I can't use it right now," Chen Mo lamented, feeling utterly helpless.

"It is good because it has no side effects," Shu Lao chuckled.

Chen Mo's discomfort was greater than swallowing a bitter pill. Even though he couldn't use it presently, the fact that it might be useful in the future and had no side effects made it valuable. However, he couldn't help feeling depressed. Even if it were related to medicine, he wouldn't have felt this disheartened if he just obtained flu medication instead.

"Judging by your expression, you don't want it?" Shu Lao asked.

"No, that's not it," Chen Mo quickly replied. Even if he couldn't use it now might be beneficial. It is a valuable resource, despite its irrelevance. These opportunities are like silver coins and should be well-spent.

Shu Lao implanted the knowledge from the book into Chen Mo's mind and laughed heartily. He remembered Chen Mo's expression a moment ago, which only made him want to laugh even more. It had been quite some time since he experienced such genuine amusement.

"The random choices in this technology library seem quite tricky, don't they?" Chen Mo laughed, still haunted by the previous random selection. With countless technologies at the library's disposal, it felt like it was playing a game of chance with him.

"It's not tricky, but rather your luck. You still have a free choice. Would you like to use it?" Shu Lao asked with a laugh.

"Yes, please," Chen Mo nodded. However, when he considered the vast number of books in the library, he couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed.

"I'm not sure what technology to choose," Chen Mo admitted, asking Shu Lao's recommendation.

"It's true; there are too many options to choose from. Shu Lao, what advice do you have?" Chen Mo asked, seeking guidance.

"Here it is," Shu Lao said as he formed a book in his palm.

"Computer Language Creation and Application."

"Is this book about creating programming languages?" Chen Mo's eyes lit up.

"Yes, it teaches you how to use any language to create computer languages," Shu Lao explained.

"That's perfect," Chen Mo exclaimed, pleasantly surprised by such a book within the technology library.

Chinese characters were incredibly complicated and carried a unique expressive charm. Compared to English, Chinese characters offered more flexibility in logical expression.

Chinese characters, whether classical, poetry, songs, or even internet slang, possessed unique expressiveness.

However, despite the extensive development of computers, there was still no programming language based on Chinese characters. Creating a Chinese programming language would undoubtedly be groundbreaking.

Upon learning about the existence of this book, Chen Mo didn't hesitate to choose it. He believed that with "Computer Language Creation and Application," he could bring his idea of a Chinese programming language to life.

Satisfied with Chen Mo's decision, Shu Lao nodded and said, "It's excellent to focus on studying and developing something that belongs to you. The technology library is ultimately an external force, but creation is the foundation of its existence."

After Shu Lao transferred the knowledge from the book to Chen Mo's mind, countless symbols and words flashed through his thoughts. With "Computer Language Creation and Application" in his possession, Chen Mo's face revealed a smile of surprise and joy, his previous disappointment over the pharmaceutical formula disappearing. The creation of a Chinese programming language was now his primary focus.

Upon leaving the technology library, Chen Mo began to digest the contents of "Computer Language Creation and Application." He couldn't contain his excitement after spending two hours carefully reading the book twice. Chen Mo eagerly sat at the table, ready to design keywords and phrases for the Chinese programming language.
