I will find my own princess

"Aura of Restoration!"

In a split second, ethereal green energy enveloped little Somir. In no less than a second, all of his 'injuries' disappeared.

"Neigh!"

Albert suddenly appeared beside Somir, looking at the green energy with a happy expression. It sensed powerful and pure mana and wanted to be near it. Maybe it was his instinct as a legendary creature.

"Oh!" Somir exclaimed in awe. "It doesn't hurt anymore!"

Then he searched for the one who was responsible for his injuries.

As soon as his eyes met the baby Samiel, he felt shivers running down his spine. Samiel was looking so fiercely and coldly at him that he felt like the air was really cold.

"He seems to be angry because you called him princess." His grandma, Lady Helene spoke from the side. "Don't call him that again, ok."

"Well, if you don't want to be beaten like that." She mysteriously smiled.

"N-no..." Somir muttered. "I won't call him that anymore."

He never and ever decided to call his brother like that again.

"But..." He then muttered.

"Hmm?" Lady Helene raised her eyebrow.

"I really want to play this game." He muttered blushing.

Then he 'heroically' declared. "So I will find my own princess and play with her!"

"..."

"Hahaha!"

The dining hall soon was filled with echoes of laughter at little Somir's declaration.

But nobody would expect that in the near future, countless beauties and real princesses would really want to be his partner.

Well, except one person that is.

The baby Samiel looked at his brother with a mysterious smile. {But only she can get a place in his heart...}

Two weeks later

As the snowflakes gently fell from the sky, covering the ground in a pristine white blanket, a sense of magic filled the air. The winter wonderland seemed to come alive as if nature itself was celebrating the arrival of a special moment.

In the midst of this snowy paradise, a majestic unicorn gracefully trotted through the snow-covered meadow. Its coat shimmered in shades of silver and white, blending seamlessly with the wintry landscape. The unicorn's eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief as if it knew something extraordinary was about to unfold.

Nearby, a three-year-old boy named Somir giggled with delight, his tiny hands scooping up handfuls of snow. His rosy cheeks and bright eyes mirrored the joy he felt, as he playfully tossed snowballs into the air. The unicorn, sensing the boy's innocence and pure heart, approached him with gentle curiosity.

As the unicorn drew closer, the boy's grandmother, who appeared young despite her old age, watched the scene unfold with a warm smile. Her eyes twinkled with a mix of nostalgia and love, as she held baby Samiel in her arms. She had seen many magical moments in her long life, but this one would definitely hold a special place in her heart.

The unicorn lowered its head, allowing the boy to gently stroke its silky mane. Somir's laughter filled the air, blending harmoniously with the soft sound of the falling snow. The unicorn nuzzled the boy's cheek, its horn emitting a soft glow that illuminated the surrounding snowflakes.

The grandmother's heart swelled with joy as she witnessed the bond forming between her grandson and the legendary creature.

She had a feeling they would be standing on a battlefield together someday and emerge victorious in every battle they attended.

Thus, they continued to spend their day. Lady Helene wasn't worried about their health as she coated their bodies with her mana protecting them from the cold.

As they built snowmen and engaged in playful snowball fights, a figure caught their attention. Somir's eyes widened, and he let out a joyful cry. Without hesitation, he dashed towards the figure standing at the entrance of the courtyard.

Lady Helene had already recognized the person since she appeared in the kingdom's area.

"Mama!" Somir exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement and relief.

It was their mom, Nazia, who had finally returned from the war. Her weary face lit up with a radiant smile as she opened her arms to embrace her son. Somir leaped into her arms, his small frame engulfed by her loving embrace.

Tears welled up in Grandma's eyes as she watched the heartwarming reunion. She approached Nazia, her steps filled with a mix of relief and joy. The two women shared a hug, their bond as mother and daughter unbreakable.

Meanwhile, Samiel, nestled in Grandma's arms, observed the scene with curious eyes. As Nazia turned her attention towards him, a wide smile spread across her face.

"Oh, my little Samiel," Nazia cooed, her voice filled with love. "Look how much you've grown!"

Samiel gurgled in response, his tiny hands reaching out towards his mother. Nazia gently took him into her arms, cradling him close to her chest.

"He's missed you so much, daughter," Grandma said, her voice filled with emotion. "We all have."

Nazia's eyes shimmered with tears as she looked at her family. "I've missed you all too, more than words can express."

The courtyard was filled with the sound of laughter and the warmth of their reunion. The snowflakes continued to fall, creating a magical backdrop for their long-awaited gathering.

As they stood there, embracing one another, they knew that this moment was a testament to their strength and love. The challenges of war had tested them, but their bond remained unbreakable. Together, they would face whatever lay ahead, cherishing every precious moment as a family reunited.

However, the most surprising thing was yet to occur.

After their heartfelt reunion, they decided to continue inside.

As they were about to enter inside, something unexpected happened.

Samiel, nestled in his mother's arms, looked up at her with wide, curious eyes. His tiny lips parted, and a soft, melodic sound escaped, like the gentle tinkling of wind chimes. It was a sound that caught everyone's attention, causing them to turn and gaze at the baby in awe and shock.

"MAMA!"
