Exploring magic... and more?

Living at Dursley was somewhat better and I had more freedom to move around after Hagrid had scared them. Dudley's pig tail still remained there somehow. I thought that it was just a temporary punishment from the half-giant. How did the magic stay for so long? Could we mutate people like this using magic? I could probably be a cosmetic surgeon if I ever learned how to do such magic. Imagine everyone becoming a KPOP idol or a supermodel...

If I recall, Hagrid is barred from using any magic. Moreover, to knowingly use magic in a Muggle-inhabited area, or in front of a Muggle, violates section 13 of the International Confederation of Warlocks' Statute of Secrecy. At least that was that I learnt when I started reading the books that I bought.

But, in the movies, when Harry produced a Patronus in front of Dudley during the Dementor attack in Order of the Phoenix, Harry immediately receives a letter from Mafalda Hopkirk advising him that he has been expelled from Hogwarts and that he will need to appear for a disciplinary hearing at the Ministry.

How did Hagrid get away with using magic in front of Muggles, and not be brought up on charges of breeching the International Statute of Secrecy? If he meant to turn Dudley into a pig, but only managed give him a piggy tail, does that constitute "accidental" magic? Why didn't the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad show up, magically remove Dudley's tail and modify all three of the Dursleys' memories like they did when Harry accidentally inflated Aunt Marge?

Hmm, I guess it would because Hagrid was old enough that he no longer had "the trace" on him so the Ministry no longer could monitor his magic activity. But what about Harry's trace? I guess since Harry hadn't started school yet there wasn't a trace on him yet. But, the ministry found out that I was a wizard the day before I got the letter when Harry had accidentally caused the glass to disappear at the zoo. Now, how did that happened? Did the ministry monitor the magic? Or maybe it was a Hogwarts automatic searching-for-new-students-and-sending-a-letter spell?

Anyways... since nothing happened, it meant that the ministry never knew that Dudley had a tail magically attached onto him and Hagrid didn't seem to feel the need to inform them. This would also mean I'm free to experiment with the magic that I had.

With this new found freedom, I was able to explore the neighbourhood of the Dursleys. Interestingly though, I always felt more energetic and stronger when I'm out in the sun. I wondered if this was due to the contrast of how depressing the house felt. But, as the days went on, I realised that I am also physically stronger, and I could feel myself becoming more powerful. Is this the effect of being a wizard?

I read through the textbooks that I bought during my spare time. Somehow, I was able to remember what I had read, and the speed that I was reading started to increase. Did I have a super brain and super intelligence?

Through the books, I also tried experimenting with my wand. I tried casting a few spells. Strangely, I was able to replicate what I felt at Ollivanders. I could see, though sometimes faintly, how the magical energy flowed within me every time I followed an incantation and moved according to the book. It was difficult at first, but as I got the hang of it, I was able to cast a few simple spells.

Once however, when I was staring at one of the pages that was describing a fire spell, the book suddenly started burning at the part where I was staring at. I immediately put out the fire by flipping the book over onto the floor. What was that? That wasn't magic was it? It seemed to have came out from my eyes... Heat vision...? Whoa, no way, how did I do that? Do I have Kryptonian powers too? How did that happened?

I tried to burn the leaves outside the house with my eyes later on but it seemed to be a one time thing. Do I really have superman's powers? Maybe I need to charge up more in the sun? I also need to investigate the past and my bloodline. How did I get such powers? That would explain why I feel strangely comfortable and stronger while out in the sun. I need to explore more if I really have superman's powers... And, why did it manifest only now?

I recalled the memories from my childhood, Harry didn't seem to have shown such powers. Is it because of puberty? I guess even Superman had to grow like a normal kid and develop his powers under the yellow sun. With this hypothesis, I started spending more days out in the sun and attempted to find the limits to my current abilities.

As the days went on, my senses seemed to have heightened as my cells absorb the sun's energy. I could hear more things and... wait, was that how the electromagnetic spectrum looked like? It seems to be flow differently from the magical energy that I saw. My speed also started increasing, albeit more slowly. I guess I really do have Kryptonian powers. Am I still in the normal Harry Potter universe or am I in an alternate universe? Are there others like me... transmigrators?
