Call me hubby...

"Where are you going?" Chen Xi asked when he saw Lin Ye walk out abruptly.

She had been here for just a few minutes and now she wanted to leave?

Lin Ye answered, "A friend of mine just called, she seems to be in trouble..."

From the phone call just now, Lin Ye could hear some noise which felt like people shouting and jeering, the situation might not be so good at Wen Shao Feng's side.

She hastily made her way to the door but was surprised to find Chen Xi already there. He was just on the bed earlier, how and when did he move so fast?

Lin Ye did not have enough time to ponder, "Move over a bit..." she told Chen Xi.

Chen Xi not only did not move over, he even took liberties to lock the door.

He sounded unreasonable, "Wifey, you have just been here for a few minutes and you want to leave already, you are not being fair"

Lin Ye became speechless, "Are you moving over or not?"

Her tone was threatening, Chen Xi felt chills. They said it is not a very wise thing as a husband to make your wife angry, he felt that the statement was very reasonable.

He moved over a little bit but a thought suddenly came to him, "Do you know where she is?"

Lin Ye stopped in her tracks, Wen Shao Feng had indeed not disclosed where she was.

Lin Ye thought for a moment, "I will still find her anyway." From the noises and loud music, Wen Shao Feng must have been in a bar.

Chen Xi thought that she was being unreasonable, "If you search that way, it will only take forever to find your friend. How about I help you look for her?"

Lin Ye looked at him, "You will?"

Chen Xi smiled, " Of course, you are my wife after all and as your husband I have to help out where I can but I have one condition..."

Lin Ye was getting tired of hearing wife this, wife that. She looked at him disapprovingly, "What is your condition?"

Chen Xi pretended that he did not know the meaning behind her gaze, "Call me hubby..."

Lin Ye became so mad that she almost punched him. Hubby? why was he courting death so late at night?

Lin Ye felt that she could not converse with him using normal human language. She ducked behind his arms and made a run out of the hospital.

Wen Shao Feng was in danger and she needed to find her quickly!

Chen Xi suddenly smiled when he saw her back getting further away from him.

Once she had gone around the bend and he could not see her anymore, Chen Xi's mood changed. He looked at Feng An who was fixing his glasses and gave some orders, "Find out where she is..."

Chen Xi was talking about Wen Shao Feng and not Lin Ye. Feng An nodded and got busy. A few minutes later, Chen Xi received a notification on his phone.

On it was written the details of where Wen Shao Feng was. . .

Lin Ye ran to the bus station. She had tried to call Wen Shao Feng a few more times but her calls went unanswered.

She did not know where to begin her search and just when she was feeling conflicted, a text message came through.

The notification came through loudly that it brought her out of her reverie.

She read it. The message was simple; Fig Tree club, room number 25.

The number 5that had sent the message was not saved but she knew it was the one Chen Xi had called her with earlier.

Lin Ye did not know whether to trust him but she still followed her instincts.

She ran over to call a taxi cab but before she did, another notification chimed in, it was Chen Xi again.

The context of the message made Lin Ye want to get inside the phone and beat Chen Xi up!

He had written, "Wifey, your hubby is helping you, can't you just call me hubby once..."

Lin Ye texted him back, "Dream on!"

She had no time to waste with him.

She got inside the cab that had parked next to her.

"Sir, please hurry to Fig Tree club...."
