Beauty in black bike

Daniel Smith, the leader of Squad 13 and a renowned crime expert, approached the lifeless body lying on the table with an air of solemnity. Gone was his earlier playfulness; now, his focus was laser-sharp as he examined the body with meticulous attention.

Upon observing the lack of injuries on the victim's body other than a clean, precise slit across the neck, a deep frown creased Daniel's brow.

His subordinate Johnny, stepped forward to provide the information. "Boss, this is the second murder in the last two weeks, and like before, there are no signs of injury aside from the neck wound."

Daniel turned to face Johnny, his expression serious. "Do you think I'm blind?" he questioned sharply.

Caught off guard by the sudden intensity in his leader's tone, Johnny stammered, "Boss..."

"I can see that, Johnny," Daniel interrupted, his frustration evident.

"Tell me something I don't know." With a curt nod, he instructed Johnny to retrieve reports from the previous team that had investigated the case.

Seated at his desk inside his cabin, Daniel flipped through the reports provided by Johnny, but found them disappointingly thin, akin to an ultra-thin Durex condom. The reports contained only basic information about the local thugs and their criminal activities.

However, what caught Daniel's attention was the recurring detail of both murders being perpetrated not with a knife or any conventional weapon, but with a simple deck card adorned with the intricate design of a spade.

Frowning at the lack of substantial information, Daniel summoned Johnny. "Where is the spade?" he demanded, his tone sharp with urgency.

"Spade? Are you planning to plant a tree, Boss?" Johnny quipped, oblivious to Daniel's serious demeanor.

Daniel's eyes narrowed dangerously. "No. I'm going to dig a pit lankier than you and bury you in it," he retorted icily, sending a shiver down Johnny's spine.

"I am asking about the spade card found at the crime scene," Daniel said.

Realizing his mistake, Johnny quickly said. "Oh! That. The cops handed it over to the forensic department"

Without wasting another moment, Daniel swiftly rose from his seat and made his way to the forensic department to examine the spade card firsthand.

At Grey's mansion

Seated on the plush sofa in the grand main hall of Grey Mansion, Aiden was engrossed in tapping away at his tablet, his expression serious and focused. Suddenly, a message on his phone seemed to irk him, and his brow furrowed in annoyance. Setting aside the tablet, he crossed his arms tightly, his anger palpable.

As if struck by a sudden realization, he began typing furiously on his phone, his fingers moving swiftly over the screen. After a few minutes of intense texting, he closed the device with a satisfied grin, revealing his sharp canines in a mischievous smirk.

Aiden made his way outside the mansion, trailed by his driver. "Stop at Greta's pet shop on the way to school," he instructed the driver, his tone firm and decisive.

The driver nodded respectfully and opened the door for Aiden, who settled into the car comfortably.

Exiting the pet shop with his backpack slung over his shoulder, Aiden nodded politely to Ms. Greta as his driver graciously thanked her and gathered the items Aiden had purchased. With practiced efficiency, the driver stowed everything in the trunk before holding the car door open for his young master.

As they merged onto the bustling road, the driver caught sight of a motorcycle rapidly approaching in the side mirror. Aiden, too, noticed the sleek black and golden MTT 420 racing towards them. His eyes widened with recognition, his gaze locking onto the rider.

Without hesitation, Aiden instructed the driver to pull over to the side of the road. As the motorcycle pulled up beside the car, Aiden rolled down the window, his curiosity piqued.

A hand reached into the car, offering Aiden his ID. Confused, Aiden glanced down to where he had placed his backpack, only to find his ID missing.

Aiden's gaze was transfixed on the electric blue eyes peering out from the helmet. As Siren extended his ID towards him, he remained rooted to his spot, unable to tear his gaze away from her.

Sensing his distraction, Siren tapped the window once more, breaking Aiden out of his reverie. Shaking off his daze, he quickly exited the car and approached her, extending his hand to accept the ID.

The driver at the front seat wanted to puke blood seeing his young master who is always as cold as ice, now cutely blinking at the stranger.

Siren looks confused at the small boy's action yet she handed over the card to him. He lifted his index finger and showed hither motion. She narrowed her eyes but seeing the cute boy's face, she did as he asked.

She lifted her slender leg off the bike and removed her helmet. She squatted on her knees near him.

Before she could fully comprehend his intentions, he leaned in and planted a kiss on her cheek. Startled, Siren blinked in surprise as the boy quickly retreated back into the car and the vehicle drove away, leaving her standing there in a state of bewilderment.

Slowly rising to her feet, Siren absentmindedly touched the spot on her cheek where the boy had kissed her.

She usually avoided physical contact with other persons but remembering the boy's reddening ears after kissing her, it seems funny to her.

She looked towards the leaving car and muttered, "Silly".
