Clash, Crack & Mock

Siren's expression turned steely as she firmly grasped his fingers and removed his hand from her waist. Max chuckled, raising his hands in surrender.

"Wouldn't you prefer your hands for driving, Max?" Siren warned him, her tone sharp.

"Tut… tut, Siren, why bother with driving when you could be snug in my arms? I'd give you everything you desire. Why take risks?" Max replied with a smirk.

"Says the man who lost to her on the track last time," Alex interjected, his tone filled with mockery.

"Don't be absurd, Alex. It was merely luck on her part last time. Let's see who comes out on top this time," Max retorted confidently.

"Then call me Godfather if you lose, will ya?" Alex raised his brows at him.

Max gritted his teeth and shot a glare at Alex.

"What? Scared?" he taunted.

Then, facing Siren, he added, "See you on the track." With that, he departed without looking back.

With 22 riders in the event and a total of 6 laps to finish the race, covering a distance of 2.4 kilometers, Siren stood out as the only female rider on the track.

Ever since her first win two years ago, she had garnered a significant number of fans. The crowd erupted in cheers as all the riders took their positions on the track.

Siren quickly checked her knee pad and bike before taking her place on the track. She glanced over at the right side of the bleachers, before securing her helmet and fastened the belt with a click.

As the starting gun fired, her bike shot forward onto the track. Gripping the clutch tightly, she accelerated it to its maximum, slicing through the air with speed. The powerful roar of the bike echoed through the arena, eliciting cheers and excitement from the crowd.

Siren dominated the first three laps, swiftly overtaking each rider. With adrenaline coursing through her veins, she executed each lap with precision, leaning sharply into each curve of the circuit.

Aiden's eyes sparkled with admiration as he watched Siren's performance. This was why he was drawn to her; she moved like a storm on the sea, wild and relentless, crushing everything in her path until it turned to dust. There was no mercy, no fear, just blind determination and adrenaline.

Meanwhile, Raven sat leisurely, one leg crossed over the other, calmly observing the race. His gaze remained fixed on a particular rider with a black bike.

As Siren maintained her lead into the fourth lap, Max decided to make his move. He accelerated his bike, maneuvering past several riders until he reached the third position.

Drawing closer to the rider in front, he increased his speed. However, just as they reached a sharp turn on the circuit, Max's bike collided with the one in front, resulting in a crash involving Siren's bike.

Siren was flung from her bike, her body skidding along the track due to the force of the impact. Her bike screeched to a halt at the side of the lane, landing near the grass at the corner of the circuit.

As Siren lay on the road, she saw another bike hurtling towards her at lightning speed. Reacting swiftly, she rolled to her right, narrowly avoiding a collision.

Aiden's eyes widened in shock as he rushed to the front of the bleachers, gripping the steel bar tightly. His eyes glinted with unshed tears, turning red with emotion. Meanwhile, Raven clenched his phone tightly, the knuckles of his hand white with tension, a crack appearing on the screen.

Alex, already on edge from watching his daughter risk herself on the track, froze when he saw the bike hurtling towards Siren. In a panic, he tried to run onto the track, but was restrained by Mark and others nearby.

"Grace!" he shouted desperately, struggling against their grip.

"Alex, you can't go onto the track now, it's too dangerous," Mark urged, attempting to calm him down, though he himself felt a sinking sense of dread. This was all because of that damn bastard Max, always resorting to underhanded methods to win. All Mark could do now was hope that Siren would emerge from this unscathed.

Max smirked, with Siren out of the race, the championship was practically his for the taking. With that thought spurring him on, he revved up his bike and sped along the track.
