Chapter 101: Captured

In the distance, a huge mass of frightening black clouds floated at the sky. At the front was a gigantic wolf head composed of black clouds, with the positions of its eyes and mouth flashing a chilling blood-red.

A low and solemn beast roar echoed between the sky and the ground, making people shudder. Jack had no doubt that this could instantly turn them into dust.

He looked around and noticed that someone was missing.

"Where's Loki?"

"I don't know. It seems like we randomly appeared here."

Sylvie shook her head with a bitter smile. "We can only hope he's lucky enough to survive."

"He's been causing trouble for thousands of years. I have no doubt about that."

Jack took two steps back and hid behind objects, fearing that they might be discovered by the thing in the sky.

"What should we do next? Do you find anything or have a plan?"

"Well, I did find something, I found your friend." Sylvie stayed quiet and said sadly, "But he's been caught by a few people, and I can't save him, I'm sorry."

"Can't you save him? They are too many?" Jack spoke up.

"There are only four or five of them, but they are good, I can't deal with them on my own," Sylvie said.

"Okay, at least we know he's still alive."

Jack sighed, closed his eyes for a few seconds, then said, "Let's save Bucky first, then find Loki, and finally find a safe place to plan our next move. Do you have any better ideas?"

"No," Sylvie shook her head.

"Then let's go."

The two turned and walked down the high ground, following Sylvie's direction to where Bucky was being held captive. In fact, they weren't far away. Sylvie had come here with Bucky, but she called Jack after realizing she couldn't save him.

Ten minutes later, they arrived at a cave not far away.

Jack and Hilary were lying in the grass, watching the cave ahead of them.

"Is this it?" Jack observed and frowned slightly, "How come no guards on the outside?"

"They seem to be afraid of that thing in the sky and don't want to stay outside for too long," explained Sylvie.

"What about the magic at the entrance? Can you break it?"

"Of course, I'm the strongest magician in the Nine Realms," Sylvie said proudly, but her expression was a bit unhappy.

Yes, if she hadn't been captured by the TVA, she would have become the strongest magician in the Nine Realms.

"Then let's go."

Jack didn't want to support her. He just wanted to find the Time Keepers right away, put an end to everything, and go back to looking for Zola.

The two of them crouched and quickly approached the cave, facing many alert magic spells along the way, all of which were destroyed by Sylvie one by one. Jack's trust in her grew even more.

The two of them arrived at the cave entrance, and indeed there was no one there, but a magic circle had been set up, and even Jack noticed it.

Sylvie started to work, her hands pressing against the wall, releasing green light.

"How long will it take?" Jack asked.

"Five minutes!"

After receiving the answer, Jack took out his gun and kept alert, guarding against anyone who might suddenly appear from the cave.

The process went smoothly, although she had been taken away by the TVA when she was very young, her magical talent was quite good, and she broke the magic circle in less than five minutes.

Jack was about to take care of Sylvie and follow her when he felt something and looked around but didn't see anything. He shook his head and continued to walk.

"What's wrong?" Sylvie asked somewhat strangely.

"I just feel like someone was here just now!" Jack frowned and looked around in confusion.

He really felt that someone was here just now, and it was very close to him, but the problem was that he didn't find anything, and Sylvie didn't feel anything either.

'Was it an illusion?'

Even Jack couldn't help but doubt his perception because there was no one around.

"Let's go in quickly. That thing in the sky seems to have found us."

Jack looked up, and sure enough, the monster shook its head and looked around, slowly approaching this way.

Seeing this, Jack waved his hand, and the two entered the cave.

Inside the cave was a dark hall, quiet. They were professionals, and there was no sound as they walked. As the cave got deeper, faint voices could be heard, and the two looked at each other and quickened their speed.

Soon, they reached the end. A straight staircase led down, and light and sound came from it.

Jack cautiously tilted over the entrance of the cave and looked down. He saw four or five people sitting around a campfire, and he looked around and breathed a sigh of relief, not finding the person he had imagined.

However, he did see Bucky, who was tied up and bruised but thankfully not dead

Jack reached for a flash grenade at his waist when he saw Bucky, but just as he was about to take it out, he had a strange feeling and jumped up, looking around quickly.

"What's going on?!" Sylvie looked at Jack in wonder, not understanding what was happening for the second time.

"..."

Jack didn't answer, still vigilantly looking around.

The sound from above must have scared the people below because they grabbed their weapons and ran loudly toward the cave entrance. Jack knew he couldn't wait any longer, so he took out the flash grenade and threw it inside!

"Boom!"

A blinding white light flashed in the thin cave entrance, Sylvie was caught off guard and closed her eyes, but Jack was unaffected. He quickly jumped into the cave and fired his gun.

"Bang, bang, bang, bang!!"

After five gunshots, five more bodies lay in the cave. Jack landed steadily and quickly observed his surroundings, confirming there was no danger before finally letting his guard down.

"Ugh"

Bucky woke up at a very timely moment and saw Jack. He was so excited that tears poured down his face as he wriggled on the ground like a caterpillar.

Jack shook his head with a smile and went over to untie Bucky.

"Oh my god, I thought I would never see you again!"

Finally freed, Bucky quickly got up from the ground, wiped himself off, and was about to hug Jack to express his gratitude.

"No Homo man."

Jack pushed Bucky away very directly and simply, saying, "We need to leave here quickly and find the Time Keeper."

"Right, right, good idea, let's leave here quickly." Bucky nodded quickly. He didn't want to stay here for a moment longer. Who knows how much he had suffered.

"But, you've found yourself another helper?"

"What? "Jack looked at Bucky in confusion, not understanding what he meant.

Bucky pointed behind Jack, "Then who is that guy?"

Jack's expression changed seriously. He quickly turned around, drew his gun, and aimed it!

Sylvie stood next to a ladder not far from him, and a person was fully wrapped in an unknown combat suit behind her. And it was clear that Sylvie didn't notice someone behind her.

"Behind you!"
