The End of Time, a ruined castle.
It looked full of mystery just by the looks of it.
The group of people in front of the portal exchanged glances, all feeling hesitant.
"I'll go in and check if there's any danger. You guys wait here," volunteered Jack, knowing he was the most suitable to explore since he was immune to the effects of time.
No one said anything, so they just watched as Jack went through the portal.
"Wow, it's even worse than I thought!" he exclaimed as he stepped through the portal and saw what was on the other side. He was standing on a big piece of destroyed rocks that looked like a small mountain and was now quietly floating in space.
The destroyed castle at the top of the mountain looked like the last level of the game. On top of the castle was a tower, and the windows of the tower gave off a golden light.
It looked like a lighthouse that directed lost travelers.
From Jack's feet to the castle entrance, a terribly bad little path enlarged.
"Come over here, it's safe," he said.
After looking around, there wasn't any other danger besides the creepy feeling. Jack turned around and waved to the others on the other side.
"One step closer, don't hesitate."
Bucky was the first to cross the portal, cautiously approaching Jack's side and looking around in amazement.
"Wow, if we could go back, I could brag about this for a long time."
Everything in front of Jack seemed like a dream because he hadn't seen many similar movies with special effects, only Marvel when he was younger.
Sylvie, who crossed over with a knife in his hand, was soon followed by Loki and Old Loki. Becca also walked over after hesitating for a moment.
Only the youngest Loki remained in place.
"I'm not going!" the youngest Loki said as he held a short alligator in one hand and threw a golden short sword to Loki in the other.
Young Loki held the short-snouted crocodile in his arms and tossed a short golden sword to Loki with his other hand. "You go find him. If you can find him, good luck, Loki."
After saying that, he left without looking back.
"Why isn't he coming?" Jack asked Old Loki.
"He made his choice," Old Loki sighed deeply and watched young Loki disappear into the distance. "He's in a lot of pain and self-blame, so he wants to exile himself."
"What did he do?"
"He killed Thor!" Loki answered him and also sighed, then turned to the castle. "Let's go meet this Time-Keeper."
Sylvie was getting impatient, so the group moved carefully along the small road toward the castle. The road was too old and slippery, and it would be horrible if someone fell.
Finally arriving at the castle, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
Jack looked at the castle more closely and saw that it was all black, but there were faint golden cracks on the walls, doors, and even windows.
"Well, who's going to knock on the door?" Jack asked.
Despite being at the front, Loki hesitated and took a few steps back, typical of him.
Sylvie and Old Loki both looked down on him, and Sylvie walked forward to kick the door open. However, just as she raised her leg, the door made a screeching friction sound and slowly opened.
This scared a few people, and the three Lokis and Becca all took a step back, alertly looking into the castle.
"Let's not waste time any longer, are we afraid now that we're all here?
Whether you stick your head out or hide, the result is the same" Jack got so tired of their hesitation.
Since the door was already open, it meant that the owner of the castle had given them permission to come in, So why be afraid? Jack was the first one in and didn't even pull out his gun.
The five of them entered the castle and found with a black scenery style and a touch of gold patterns that gave a slightly rich. However, the quiet silence all around made it feel chilling.
Entering the castle's entrance hall, they saw a long, dark corridor at the end of which they couldn't see anything.
Jack looked around, and there was only one way to go down the long hallway. He had no choice but to head in that direction.
"Hi"
The atmosphere was tense, and the sudden greeting almost made the five people jump out of their skin. Only Jack looked curiously at the holographic projection blocking his way.
"Who are you?" he asked.
Miss Minutes appeared momentarily stunned. She wanted to ask them that, but she never expected to be asked first.
"She's Miss Minutes, the TVA's artificial intelligence," Loki explained from behind.
Jack nodded knowingly and looked at Miss Minute, "Alright, you appeared here, obviously, the big boss has something to say, so go ahead and speak."
Miss Minute was surprised once again, 'how did this person know her intentions?'
But it was only a short pause, and she quickly got back on her feet and told everyone, "Welcome to the Citadel at the End of Time. Congratulations, y'all had an awfully long journey to get here, He's impressed.
"Who is impressed?" Loki asked.
"He Who Remains," Miss Minute's tone was full of nostalgia, as if there were many stories behind this name.
"Cut to the chase, just tell us your purpose," Jack interrupted, getting straight to the point. "He didn't bring you here just to chat with us."
"You're right. He admires your perseverance, so he's offered you a deal!" When Miss Minute finished speaking, a time portal appeared in front of them.
"Through this portal, you can go back to your own time before being arrested by the TVA. Then you can make any decision you want, and this time no one will interfere with you!"
"You can live the life you've always dreamed of!" The proposal was undoubtedly tempting, at least Old Loki and Becca were moved by it.
"Really?" Old Loki's face lit up with excitement. He could conquer Earth and prove himself again if he returned to his original timeline.
"Is it true?" Old Loki finally couldn't help but ask eagerly. "If I go back, can I see Thor again?"
"Absolutely."
"What about Steve?"
"That's possible too!"
After receiving confirmation, Old Loki and Becca couldn't hold back any longer.
"We agree!"
