Chapter 183: The Citadel at the End of Time

Smack!

A swift and solid slap landed on Ultron's face, sending him crashing into the ground.

The impact was so powerful that it created a huge crack in the earth, showing the magnitude of damage suffered by Ultron.

However, Jack didn't expect it to be that easy to kill him.

But Ultron's counterattack was much faster than he expected.

In a flash of blue light, Ultron appeared behind him.

With his hands clasped together, a threatening spatial rift suddenly appeared, surrounding both of them, and then disappeared without a trace.

"Um..."

The scene fell into a terrifying silence.

Thor scratched his head and asked,

"What do we do next?"

"..."

No one else spoke, but the frustration was written on each person's face.

It seemed like their only responsibility was to see the battle.

On the other side, in a desolate space of the universe.

The figures of Jack and Ultron quietly appeared.

"Why did you bring me here?"

Jack looked around curiously and asked,

"Why didn't you just run away?"

"I want to make a deal with you!"

Ultron's words were shocking. As he spoke, he distanced himself from Jack.

"Hmm?"

These words indeed surprised him.

Jack looked at Ultron with suspicion for a while before speaking, "Go on."

Seeing that Jack didn't make a move, Ultron secretly breathed a sigh of relief and quickly continued.

"I can guarantee not to invade your universe. I only ask you not to interfere with me. Also, I can bring you the Infinity Stones from other universes. If I'm not mistaken, you can absorb the power of the Infinity Stones and integrate perfectly with them."

"Hmm, the conditions are tempting."

Jack nodded seriously and looked very tempted. Ultron almost thought he had convinced him but in the next moment.

Bang!

A fist directly hit Ultron's chest, and as he followed the arm's trajectory, he realized that Jack had suddenly appeared behind him.

"...But I refuse!"

Before the words even fell, Jack withdrew and returned to his previous position.

Ultron's injuries were immediately repaired after he was attacked, but the insult he felt made him so angry that he almost burned his CPU.

But what happened next made him even more angry.

"I'm curious."

Jack had an orange gem in his hand, which he clearly caught out of nowhere, casually tossing it up and down.

"If Thanos knew that he sacrificed his beloved daughter to get the Soul Stone only for you to grab it away, he probably wouldn't have done it so easily."

Yes, he held the Soul Stone in his hand. Just thirty seconds ago, it was stuck in Ultron's chest, but Jack took it back without any trouble.

After being tricked and losing another Stone, Ultron was so angry that it was hard to imagine.

He felt like he couldn't take it any longer.

"I'll keep this for now."

With a flick of his wrist, the gem disappeared from Jack's hand.

Seeing this, Ultron waved his hand, activating the Time Stone, slowing down the flow of time in the entire universe.

He walked up to Jack slowly with a sharp axe in his hand, which he swung at his head while murmuring.

"This is the price for insulting me!"

Smack!

But in the next second, a hand grabbed the axe's handle and stopped it from hitting.

"What?"

This scene once again shocked Ultron, as he looked at Jack, only to receive another slap and was sent flying.

Jack dusted off his hands and muttered,

"Do I have to explain to you that I'm immune to time as well?"

After hearing this mutter, Ultron, who had finally stabilized himself, almost exploded on the spot.

"Alright, what other tricks do you have? Let's see them all together."

Jack extended his hand and used a finger to call Ultron.

Thirty minutes later.

The once peaceful and empty universe was now filled with debris.

From cracked half-planets to robot spaceships that had been taken apart, space junk was floating around, filling up huge parts of the sky with stars.

This was a sign that something important had just happened here!

It was an epic battle

In half an hour, Ultron used all his tactics but couldn't even move Jack from his position.

Several times, Ultron used the power of all five Infinity Stones, but for Jack, it was just a little annoyance that he easily dealt with.

Ultron was on his way to giving up after each scene where he failed.

And now, he was completely out of options.

Ultron stood among the rubble, his body all beat up.

The outside of his body displayed faint red and green colors, resulting from his trying to use the powers of the Reality and Time Stones to heal his body.

But it was all useless.

"Why do you insist on fighting me?"

Ultron asked, trying to reason with Jack as a last resort.

"I promise I won't disturb your universe. Isn't that enough?" he begged.

Jack looked at Ultron, who was filled with righteous anger and sighed.

He replied seriously, "I believe in a dead you more than your empty words."

"And you're causing too much trouble. If you had stayed quietly in your own universe, I wouldn't have bothered to come and fight you."

"But now, it's too late for that."

"I can't sleep peacefully until you're dead."

Ultron was left speechless by these words.

How could he not understand this reason? It was right because he understood that he knew his chances were slim today.

But he wanted to make one last gamble.

With a wave of his hand, a portal appeared behind him, and without saying a word, Ultron stepped into it.

Jack raised an eyebrow at this view.

Ultron had considered running away before, but Jack had chased him back.

Now he was trying the same trick again. What was he up to?

Seeing the portal about to close, Jack quickly rushed into it.

He wasn't afraid of any tricks or schemes Ultron might have.

In the face of total power, those things were meaningless.

Passing through the portal, Jack found himself in a strange space.

In the quiet, empty space, there was a big halo with thin strands of light that were thinner than hair and spread out like plants to make an egg-shaped structure.

In the center of the halo, a crumbling castle stood on a piece of broken land.

Jack looked at everything and couldn't help but smile.

He was familiar with this place.

The Citadel at the End of Time.

He had gone through countless difficulties to come here, and in the end, Sylvie had dropped a sword through the entire multiverse.

Speaking of Sylvie, he wondered how she was doing here. Since he was here, he might as well pay her a visit.

Ultron had disappeared without a trace, but Jack wasn't worried. Sylvie should be able to find him.

The Infinity Stones were nothing more than useless stones in this place. Ultron could come, but he couldn't leave.

Although he didn't know the purpose of Ultron bringing him here, Jack, being bold and skilled, wasn't afraid.

He would first catch up with Sylvie and then create a plan to deal with Ultron.

However, as he arrived at the entrance of the Citadel, what he saw made him even more curious.

"Wow... This is something you don't see every day..."
