Jack suddenly thought of something he had forgotten.
In the original movie "Avengers: Infinity War," Bruce Banner used the radiation signature of the Infinity Stones to look for them all over the world.
Even though it did not work very well, it was still a successful plan.
Jack thought that Thanos had something like a Dragon Ball radar that could pick up the radiation signature of the Infinity Stones.
This would explain how he could always find them.
With his question answered, he looked again at the person on the ground.
Just as he was about to say something, he raised an eyebrow and looked up. A large meteorite was about to crash down on him.
Bang!
The meteorite where Jack was standing blasted, and Thanos' throne instantly shattered into pieces.
As for the person on the ground...
A slender figure appeared silently from the pile of rubble. It was clear that he was the one behind that attack.
Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight came out of the darkness and looked at the mess of meteorites in front of them.
"Is he dead?"
Corvus Glaive asked, with lingering fear in his eyes.
He saw memories of his fights with Jack flash before his eyes, and a deep sense of fear crossed his face.
"He probably isn't," replied Proxima.
Ebony Maw looked in all directions with eyes as sharp as an eagle's.
"Correct answer."
The unexpected voice from behind shocked all three of them.
Crack!
Before the three could react, a dazzling and hot laser flashed through the space, freezing Thanos' three generals in place.
After a few seconds, their large heads rolled off their owner's necks.
After completing these, Jack dusted off his shoulder and casually picked up Corvus Glaive's weapon. With a slight force, he snapped it in half.
He hadn't forgotten that this weapon allowed him to infinitely resurrect as long as the weapon was intact.
Bang!
A loud explosion came from a distance.
Jack turned his head toward the sound and saw Thanos holding his two-sided sword. He looked a little messy. Black Dwarf and Supergiant were standing behind him.
"You've pissed me off, Earthling!"
Thanos swore that he had never been so messy since he came into power.
This Earthling, who was interesting but to whom he did not pay much attention to, had really shocked him.
And it made him angry. His anger wasn't because his three loyal subordinates died, but simply because Jack had hurt him.
He still felt a slight pain at the back of his head.
"As luck would have it, I wanted to say the same thing."
Jack spoke, and his gaze shifted to Supergiant behind Thanos, greeting her as if they were old friends.
"Hey, remember me? I'm that unlucky guy you almost killed last time. Does it ring a bell?"
Supergiant looked at Jack without saying a word, but her eyes were full of deep humiliation, which showed how upset she was inside.
As Thanos' strongest subordinate, she had never disappointed him, except for that one time.
Although Thanos didn't blame her for it, she felt that she had been useless in her duties. She felt ashamed.
Especially during that attack on Jack's mind, the green power had tormented her for several years, and it was only with the power of the Mind Stone that she was able to recover.
It could be said that she had suffered greatly at Jack's hands.
Roar!
Before Thanos could make a move, the Black Dwarf, who had been in silence the whole time, was the first to jump out and swing his war hammer at Jack.
Seeing the foolish giant, Jack didn't even have the desire to fight back. He simply opened his palm and gently pressed it down.
A huge rock appeared out of nowhere and crashed down on Black Dwarf, instantly squashing him.
Seeing this scene, Thanos remained expressionless, but a hint of seriousness flashed in his eyes.
This Earthling was stronger than he had expected. And it seemed that he possessed more than one Infinity Stone.
"I'll give you a chance, Thanos."
Jack appeared a few meters away from Thanos, and he looked at him with a complicated expression.
"Just give me the Mind Stone, and I'll spare your life. How about that?"
To be honest, he didn't really want to kill Thanos.
True, Thanos had killed countless people and destroyed half of the population on many planets.
No words could describe the blood on Thanos' hands.
But he wasn't a true villain.
A villain is someone who harms others for their own benefit, and that's not what Thanos was doing.
He killed so many people to maintain the balance of the universe.
Although Jack found Thanos' ideology somewhat childish and ridiculous, it was his dream and the goal he fought for his whole life, even at the cost of losing everything.
In the end, he was fighting for the universe and the people who were still alive. He just chose the wrong way to do things, and he was also very stubborn about it.
So, calling him more of a maniac than a villain would be more accurate.
But not wanting to kill him didn't mean not killing him.
The encounter when he first appeared as a hero made it impossible for him to let Thanos go.
The fact that Thanos had been able to live for so long was already due to Jack's mercy.
"Do you think you've got me figured out? Earthling! You dare to underestimate me?"
Jack's sympathetic tone caused Thanos' expression to darken once again.
But even in his burning anger, Thanos didn't lose his mind.
This Earthling, whom he once thought was incredibly weak, had grown to the point where he had to admit the danger.
"To say that I've figured you out would be wrong, but I indeed..."
His voice paused, and Jack's figure instantly disappeared, only to reappear in front of Thanos the next moment.
"...don't underestimate you."
Almost at the same time, Thanos made a move, slashing his body toward Jack with his massive blade-like weapon.
Bang.
After only experiencing a tingling sensation in his palm, Thanos was shocked to discover that Jack's chest was actually stopping his powerful battle blade, which had been with him throughout his conquests of half of the universe.
"Do you want me to repeat it a few more times..."
Jack looked down at the blade pressed against his chest, shook his head, and sighed, "...I don't underestimate you!"
He grabbed the blade with one hand and forcefully pushed it aside.
Thanos immediately felt an irresistible force snatching the blade away from his hand.
By the time he regained his senses and looked around, his blade had long disappeared, who knows where.
"I'll have a look myself!"
Jack shook his head, placed his hand on Thanos' bald head, and let his power sink into his mind so he could look through his life almost easily.
He saw Thanos' childhood, on the beautiful and advanced planet of Titan, flourishing and successful with the Eternals.
Thanos has looked different from the usual Eternals since he was young, but he had never felt insecure about his appearance. His people didn't discriminate against him either.
He loved his planet and his fellow Eternals.
He could have lived a happy life, but in the end, everything he had was gone.
