At the moment that the Wall of Extreme Speed appeared, many powerful beings in the huge DC universe became worried.
Heaven, the Silver City.
This was the center of Heaven, like a capital city, where Gods and archangels lived.
Of course, if you were lucky and lived a good life, you might even get an invitation to live here after you die.
At this moment, a unique angel was floating in the air on top of a tower in the middle of Silver City. He wore a white robe, and he was black.
"Speed Force?"
He opened his eyes in disbelief, then closed them to feel his surroundings.
But this time, he found nothing.
It seemed like the sensation he had just experienced from the Speed Force was only an illusion.
"What's going on? What has happened in the multiverse?"
He opened his eyes and slowly lowered himself to the ground, his brows furrowed with worry and thought.
He didn't think he was experiencing an illusion. The power he felt just now was definitely the Speed Force.
However, the Wall of Extreme Speed should not have the ability to reach Heaven.
This was the realm of the gods, and many of them lived here. Even if someone had the Speed Force, it would not be a good idea to anger them.
So, what exactly was happening?
He was a little worried. He rubbed his shiny, bald head and gave it a light pat.
Recently, his annoying brother secretly escaped from Hell and went to the world of Humans.
He heard that his brother had opened a bar and spent all day drinking.
This wouldn't do!
Without the Devil in charge, Hell would fall into chaos.
He had planned to go find his brother shortly, but something unexpected happened, and now he probably will not be able to leave for a while.
"Sigh~"
He sighed with a hint of sadness in his voice. He felt tired in his soul.
"Amenadiel, why are you so troubled?"
An old voice came from behind him. When he heard this voice, Amanadriel was startled at first, but he quickly turned around to look at the person.
The newcomer was an old man, just like Amanadriel, with shiny black skin. His figure was somewhat thin as if he hadn't eaten in a long time, but the wisdom in his eyes and the smile on his lips could comfort anyone who looked into his eyes.
(Imagine Morgan Freeman as God.)
"Father!"
Amenadiel got down on one knee in front of the old man and looked up at him with a mix of respect and love in his eyes.
Only the legendary being who controlled all existence and power in the DC universe, the one who was above everything and everyone, the supreme being, God, could make the current ruler of Silver City so humble.
"Please, rise, Amenadiel. You know that I do not like these things,"
God sighed helplessly and bent down like any other dad to help Amanadriel stand up.
He looked his son over carefully and gave him his blessing.
"Hmm, it seems you've grown quickly during this time. I'm glad."
"This is..."
Amenadiel started to say that it was because of what his father had taught him, but God's gaze stopped him immediately.
"Very well. Is there anything happening in Silver City? I've been away for quite some time, and you've worked hard."
Amenadiel was moved and almost started crying. He thought that all the hard times he had been through were worth it.
The Father truly loves me.
But, despite how he felt, he still had some things to report.
"Thank you, Father. But there is a problem now. Lucifer has escaped from Hell."
God stopped walking and stayed still.
"Ah, Samuel. He always finds a way to surprise me."
God didn't seem angry; instead, he seemed happy.
"Father, without the Ruler, Hell will become unstable. After all, it's not a place where he is the only one. Although he holds power there, he doesn't control everything."
Unlike his father, who was always positive, Amenadiel seemed worried.
"Are you talking about Beelzebub and Azazel? Don't worry, they won't cause much trouble."
God still seemed sure of himself, as if he did not think the chaos in Hell was a big deal.
In fact, if God wants to, he can change the whole DC universe with just a thought.
He is a being above all the rules of the DC universe, and just small hell was not that important to him.
"Hmm?"
Amenadiel could not help but wonder why his father did not seem to care about the chaos in hell or get mad at Lucifer for leaving without permission.
"So, Father, why have you come?"
God turned around and looked at him.
"You should have felt it just now, right? That power is similar to the Speed Force."
When Amenadiel heard this unexpected news, his heart skipped a beat. He didn't expect his father to return because of this matter.
"I would appreciate it if you could do me a favor, Amenadiel. Go and inform those old folks in the Realm of Gods. I will handle this matter, so they don't need to worry too much."
God patted Amanandiel's shoulder and continued,
"Remember, be polite."
"Understood, Father."
Amenadiel nodded politely and then grew two perfect white wings on his back. He took off from the tower.
Watching Amenadiel leave, God's smile faded, a hint of helplessness appearing on his face.
"This little one is quite unexpected. But in this way, it's inevitable that certain individuals will take notice."
"I wonder who will come out on top this time?"
God shook his head in excitement as he slowly faded away.
Meanwhile, on the distant planet of Apokolips, within a magnificent palace, a tall and powerful figure sat on the throne.
His dark blue skin was as hard as steel, and his well-defined muscles gave off a powerful strength. Leaning on the chair, he used one hand to support his head while his eyes were half closed as if he were trying to sleep.
He was just sitting there casually, but he had such an enormous aura that no one wanted to come near the big hall.
He was Darkseid, the ruler of Apokolips and the most terrifying and powerful New God in the DC universe, the mastermind behind the destruction of New Genesis.
And unlike his counterparts in the multiverse, this was his true body.
A powerful existence that can not be beaten.
At a certain moment, Darkseid suddenly opened his eyes. His blood-red pupils seemed to contain endless slaughter.
Anyone who dared to look into his eyes was likely to die instantly.
"The Speed Force?"
Darkseid murmured and sounded a little puzzled.
How could the Speed Force exist on Apokolips?
How could it dare to set foot here?
But that short feeling could not be wrong!
What was going on?
Darkseid was curious, and without him asking, a tall, thin, and humble-looking person walked in.
"Respected Lord, DeSaad is at your service."
Darkseid glanced at him approvingly and waved his hand.
"Go and investigate if there's any issue with the source of the Speed Force."
"Understood."
DeSaad didn't hesitate for even a second. After respectfully bowing, he cautiously exited the palace.
"Things are becoming more interesting."
