We were waiting for Ryan to finalize the results of the lie detector test. Tiffany and Marilyn were sitting across from us. "So, what happens after this?" Kai asked. "It depends on the results," Marilyn said. "What do you mean? If we fail a specific question, something happens?" I asked. Marilyn gave a nod.

"Can you give an example of a question?" Vex asked. "For example, when Ryan asked Carlos if he would agree to be involved with the child's life if the baby was proven to be his, Carlos answered no. If the baby is proven to be Carlos', Tiffany has the right to make him pay child support," Marilyn said.
