His eyes darted from place to place as he searched for his opponent. After a couple of seconds, his eyes landed on a figure standing alone at the corner of the room, leaning against the pillar next to the painting.

As soon as their eyes met, K'agosk felt something stir within him. He felt an unfamiliar sensation, as if he was being drawn to him. His gaze didn't waver from the figure and when he caught him staring back he smirked in satisfaction. "This is perfect," he murmured under his breath. He turned to look at the crowd surrounding him and saw everyone starting to talk excitedly amongst themselves. The auctioneer shouted, "Let us begin the bidding!" and everyone eagerly grabbed their own money and placed their bid on the painting. After spending a little over ten minutes bidding on the piece they finally decided to put their money down for it. They bid another 10 thousand on it and finally put down the rest of their funds. Finally the auction began.

After about thirty minutes of bidding the auction was finally concluded and Sibylla and K'agosk both left the hall, satisfied with the outcome. "Well, that was easy." K'agosk commented as they walked away from the auction house. "Yes it was." Sibylla agreed. "Now, let's go grab something to eat." K'agosk nodded and led the way to one of the restaurants nearby. As soon as they entered the restaurant they ordered their meals and sat down in an empty booth in the back corner, trying to avoid the eyes of others. K'agosk took another sip of his drink as he started to tell Sibylla about the auction.

"You know that guy that brought me to the auction was actually a thief, he used the whole time to try and get me to sell my painting and I couldn't stand it so I told him off! But after that he started telling me all these amazing things about the pieces and then suddenly we had this really interesting conversation, so after that I decided to invite him back to the apartment I use so I could show him the painting." He finished his story with a proud grin plastered on his face. Sibylla chuckled at his enthusiasm. "Well he must have liked it because he bought it and brought it to you. That's great! What else did he tell you?" K'agosk's excitement dimmed slightly, causing Sibylla's heart to sink a little at the sight.
