"Yeah." she replied softly before pulling back to look at me. "What are you doing here?"

"I needed to talk to someone." I replied, turning and leading her back into the living room. "Who?" "Mrs. Terezi." I answered. "Who is Mrs. Terezi?" "She works at the hotel and runs the place where I live." I explained and she nodded before asking: "And why were you crying?" "Um... I.." I stammered for a second, searching for an appropriate explanation, "I was worried about mom." I finished lamely. L'isaisa laughed softly and wrapped her arm around my shoulders before pulling me towards her and kissing the top of my head. We both stayed quiet for a few moments, neither of us wanting to break the silence that had settled between us. After a while we broke the silence. "How is mum?" "She's fine. She said she'd call you later. She's resting right now." L'isaisa whispered as she rubbed my arm comfortingly. "I missed you Sibby." She added. "Me too." I replied quietly. The two sisters stood there silently for a moment, simply enjoying each other's company. After awhile L'isaisa pulled me aside and whispered into my ear: "Let's go upstairs, I need some fresh air." "Okay." I said as I followed her through the house.

The sisters climbed the stairs and sat down on the sofa. It felt very strange sitting there without mum with us. As if reading my mind L'isaisa spoke up: "Where do you think she might be now? If you don't mind me asking?" I let out a soft sigh: "Honestly, I don't know. I'm sure she's somewhere safe and sound. Somewhere safe and secure, that is." "But where exactly?" "I don't know." I repeated. She remained quiet and continued staring straight ahead. It felt like ages, but eventually we both started getting hungry. Without saying a word, she jumped to her feet and headed downstairs. I followed shortly behind. She placed some food on plates and brought them upstairs. Once we ate our fill of food she suggested that we watch TV. I agreed.
