Chapter 620: Looting Is the Right Way

The night deepened.

No matter how grand or loud the banquet, it must come to an end. Every king wanted to chat with Duke deep into the night, but they knew Duke was exhausted.

That night, those damned kings made Duke drink a lot. As they exited the banquet hall and entered the corridor...

"Urgh...Urgh...Urgh…"

Aside from Antonidas and Kael'thas, there were six kings and two Alliance commanders, eight figures of immense importance in the Alliance. They lined up by height...

Each bent over, supporting themselves against a tree, retching in unison.

The sight of the eight Alliance leaders vomiting was quite the spectacle.

Every noble witnessing this scene wore a look of horror, wishing they didn't recognize these disgraceful figures. This was an embarrassing moment for the Alliance.

Anyone who dared to spread this would face dire consequences!

No one would even dare to bury you after your death.

Duke, not being any better, threw up all over Alleria who had come to help him, angering her greatly.

"Sleep by the tree tonight!" she declared, storming off.

Normally, the recently affectionate Vereesa would not abandon Duke. However, Duke had vomited on a tree.

Vereesa whispered regretfully, "What you've done will kill the tree."

Yes, trees need water, but being drenched in alcohol-laden vomit? That's a death sentence.

Duke realized why bars that sell a lot of alcohol don't have indoor plants. Probably because drunk patrons vomited them to death.

Duke was devastated. Tears flowed.

What happened to the celebration? Where were the 1v2 duels?

Both had fled, leaving Duke with nothing.

The drunken Alliance leaders finally left with assistance.

But Duke's night wasn't over. As he tiredly returned to his room, Gavinrad suddenly announced, "Sorry, there's an important figure waiting for you inside."

Duke knew instantly who it was from Gavinrad's peculiar expression.

Opening the door...

"Chirp chirp chirp! Ah, delicious!"

A beautiful face, ample bosom, a flexible waist, and pale thighs, all enough to captivate any uninformed male.

Duke firmly declared, "Wrong room, my apologies!" and promptly shut the door.

Joking aside!

She was drunk again!

A drunk Red Dragon Queen is dangerous!

Then, a seductive voice teased from inside, "Really? I even brought a reward for slaying Neltharion."

To kill a boss and not loot its corpse! This was a crime! A sin!

Duke immediately reopened the door, rubbing his hands together with a sycophantic smile, "Ah, our most beautiful Queen Alexstrasza! I thought you were some princess in my bed. My mistake, fame brings much trouble."

"Oh?" Alexstrasza reclined gracefully on Duke's bed, giving him a playful look.

"Indeed. So, what's my reward?" Duke asked eagerly.

The Queen took a sip of red wine, letting it drip down her chin, tracing her elegant neck and disappearing into her bosom.

Duke gulped.

Teasingly, Alexstrasza declared, "Your reward...is me."

A cold wind blew. Duke solemnly responded, "Sorry, I don't wish to die."

Attempting to leave, Duke found his exit blocked by a wall of flames.

Feeling arms wrap around his neck and something press into his back, Duke was paralyzed with fear.

Damn, one shouldn't mess with a drunk Red Dragon Queen!

Noticing Duke's reaction, a more sober Alexstrasza whispered seductively in his ear, "Hmph! Boring. I just wanted to celebrate with you for killing the traitor, Neltharion. Now, I'm not in the mood."

She then lounged on Duke's velvet bed, rolling about.

Cautiously, Duke approached, fearing a dragon's breath might incinerate him.

"Fine! I came to give you your war spoils." With a wave, numerous pieces of glittering equipment appeared by the bed. Among them, Duke noticed a staff.

Excitedly, Duke recognized it as Tihanak*Time Steps, a staff that greatly increased the wielder's magic speed, affecting nearby mages as well.

"This...this..." Duke was speechless with joy.

Alexstrasza scoffed, "Look at you, so pleased. Pathetic."

"Eh..."

"Visit Malygos and me later. We both have rewards for you. Ysera has a reward too, but she's busy with corruption in the Emerald Dream. Only Nozdormu was stingy, saying sparing you was reward enough."
