Chapter 1 - The Frustrating Past (Pilot) !SHORT CHAPTER!

The protagonist, Emely Lynn was on her lavender couch alone as always in her house, taking a nap after the long day of school, napping to prepare for her long night shift at the restaurant.

The restaurant was a 24/7 one called Leeyuu, serving chinese dishes. Emelys phone started buzzing to indicate it was time to walk to work. She sat up and turned the alarm off, putting a strand of her long black hair behind her ear, seemingly frustrated.

'Why is life so boring' she thought to herself and got off the couch, going to her room to put on the tacky restaurant uniform and concealer under her dark green eyes, she never changed in the changing room at work cause of embarrassment, she never liked how she looked, she was petite, flat and malnourished. Opening the wooden front door and taking her bag before going out and locking the door.

After half an hour of walking, taking a train and of course many stares from older drunken men in the train station waiting with her smoking cigarettes, she was finally at work.

Her work consisted of washing dishes and serving food, she was a manager meaning she had more benefits. A coworker was in the break room playing games again, that was all the coworker did the whole shift.

Emely got frustrated at the coworker and went up to him, tapping his shoulder. Emely and him were the only people working tonight and it was busier than usual "Could you start working?" Emely said in an angry tone, the man groaned "It isn't that busy, can't you do it yourself" Emely got really angry now, she truly could care less any other day but the restaurant was filled with gangsters and drunk people. "Okay, if you think I can do it myself then you are fired" She didnt know though that he needed the money to pay for school and family, he turned around looking angry.

"You can't fire me!"

"Yes I can, I'm the manager"

The childish man just growled and left the restaurant. Emely worked alone rest of the night, it was tiring and she was basically overworking herself as usual.

Not like there was a difference having the man here or not.

After a long few hours at around 5 am, her other coworkers came in so she could go home. She took her bag and left the restaurant. She was soon enough at the train station.

As the train inched closer she felt a push on her back, she started falling towards the train track. 'No! No this can't be happening' Everything slowly turned black while she looked at the one who pushed her.

A familiar face...

The fired coworker.

After a long while everything suddenly flashed white and she shot up, her eyes widening.

She felt no pain at all.

"Hello child" a figure behind a curtain greeted the raven woman. "H-hi?" she said in a quiet, hazy voice.. seemingly confused.

"I made a mistake, I apologize"

"A mistake?" the raven questioned the figure.

The figure revealed themselves by walking out from behind the curtain, a tall woman with long white hair and blue eyes. "I didn't mean to make your life miserable.."

"So you killed me?"

"No, oh my! I would never." The raven sighed in relief. "I do wanna give you a proposition though" Emely seemed interested in it and asked what it was.

"I wanna reincarnate you in a world. The world needs your help in evolving in to a new century." The tall woman then continued with "I want you to make inventions in this new world, taking ideas from your old one." she paused "or you can go back to your old world"

Emely thought for a moment "I have nothing back home, no family, no friends.. nothing."

"Then it's decided, your name in the other world will be Esmerelda Fiolder, a noble and you will be able to wield magic"

Before Emely could even say anything she got transported.
