Chapter 243: Eyvor Exposed!?

"Your Highnesses." Said Maxim with a cough, trying to gather Elaine and Elif's attention, though they were far too deep within their own passionate word to hear him.

"You need to do it like this, Maxim." Remarked Illumia lightly as she cleared her throat before opening her mouth, her voice surprising everyone.

"Elif and Elaine August!" Stated Illumia sternly while she imitated Maria's voice, something which would be considered a royal offense if anyone else dared to do that, though Illumia was a special case.

Hearing Mother's voice, Elaine and I instantly separated ourselves as I sat upright and fixed my posture while Elaine sat beside me on her throne, with the two of us looking like proper royalty. However, as we searched around for Mother, we didn't find her at all, causing Elaine and I to look at each other in confusion, though Illumia cleared that up for us.

"Apologies for using your name without honorifics, Your Highnesses, but please remember we're in a public space; your indecent actions aren't befitting of a Prince or Princess." Stated Illumia with a bow; her voice had returned to normal while both Elaine and Elif clicked their tongues in annoyance.

"Tsk, for as long as I can remember, you've always been ruining things, Illumia." Remarked Elaine with a deep frown as she glanced at Illumia, who bowed once more but didn't say anything, causing Elaine to grunt and ignore her

As annoyed as I was with Illumia for interrupting Elaine and I, she was right; it was different if we behaved like that within the palace or even in the royal carriage, but we are in a public setting, within our own Empire no less. We needed to show some level of etiquette and not act like a pair of beasts in heat; we were royalty, and our actions directly affected the image of our Empire and lineage. Granted, staying composed was much easier said than done when my sexy little sister kept looking at me with such inviting eyes; it was making it several times more difficult.

'Hmm, I know I want to become one with Elaine, but have I always been this poor at controlling my lust?' Mused Elif with furrowed brows as he thought back to today, though what he didn't know was the aphrodisiac tea Elaine had given him was beginning to show its effects.

While I was confused about that, I eventually shook my head and forgot about it, figuring I was just too eager now that I had nothing holding myself back from becoming one with Elaine.

"I appreciate the assistance, Illumia, but don't do that again; I was quite enjoying myself." Said Elif lightly as he eyed Illumia, who nodded before giving a slight bow.

"I understand, Your Highness, but if it becomes too much, I shall intervene again." Replied Illumia softly as she stood upright and glanced at Elif, who clicked his tongue but didn't say anything since that was part of her job as his personal attendant.

Since Mother was never actually here, Elaine returned to her usual seat in my lap, watching the dancers while snacking on the appetizers as we waited for the main dish to arrive.

"I don't mean to be noisy, Prince Elif or Prince Elaine, but I've noticed the two of you seem to be far more intimate today than usual." Said Shelia as she sat toward the left of the table, curiously glancing at Elif and Elaine.

"Well, it is his birthday, Shelia; I'm just showing my love for Brother after all." Replied Elaine lightly as she leaned against Elif's back while eyeing Shelia, a glint surfacing within her eyes.

"And there is nothing wrong, Princes Elaine; it's just, I'm sure your actions are making a few of these women envious; after all, Prince Elif is considered the most beautiful among the younger women. Cause I know I am." Commented Nerthus with a teasing smile while sitting beside Elif, looking at Elaine sitting on his lap before glancing at the several.

"Mother." Said Birger with a slight frown, looking at Nerthus to his right.

"Hehe, I'm merely joking, child; I must fit in with these young women somehow. Besides, it should be fine; didn't you tell me Eyvor has feelings for Prince Elif?" Remarked Nerthus with a soft chuckle as she hugged Birger, though her words caused everyone to look at Eyvor, whose whole body had taken on a shade of red.

"Birger!?" Exclaimed Eyvor through gritted teeth as she glared daggers at Birger, who awkwardly coughed and looked away.

"Oh, was I not supposed to mention that? I thought everyone knew; I apologize, Eyvor." Said Nerthus in shock as she looked at everyone before covering her mouth and glancing at Eyvor, while both Suscila and Elaine glared at her, though while one saw an enemy, the other saw a corpse.

Looking at Eyvor, I glanced at Nerthus before sighing. She was fooling everyone here, but she hadn't done that by accident; she was a Queen who oversaw a Divine Kingdom; there was no way she'd make such a mistake. That was on purpose. She may be a nymphomaniac Dryad, but she was also a clever Queen.

'I wonder what she expects to get out of this by bringing that topic up.' Thought Elif curiously while eyeing Nerthus before shaking his head and ignoring it, figuring it was better to remain silent.

"Haha, you've got feelings for Prince Elif, Eyvor? You're just like my sisters; they're always talking about him!" Remarked Goliath loudly as he drank a barrel of beer, which was like a mere cup in his hands while looking at Eyvor.

"Haa, I suppose not even Eyvor can resist him." Muttered Shelia with a sigh as she shook her head; though she wasn't one to talk, just every woman present, she had a small crush on Elif.

"I'm curious to learn more about this." Stated Echo with a raised eyebrow as she took a bite of a heavenly apple.

"Yes, so am I." Said Suscila with a deep frown as she crossed her arms and eyed Eyvor.

With nearly everyone pressuring Eyvor into speaking, she eventually caved in and started speaking.

"Alright, alright! I-I'll talk. There isn't much to say other than I developed feelings for Prince Elif after the first time Birger and I visited the Elven Empire; ever since then, they've only gotten deeper and more profound. Is everyone happy?" Declared Eyvor in slight anger as she eyed everyone before briefly describing the events, which was quite accurate even if not detailed.

"I'm happy." Said Elif with a teasing smirk while resting his arm on the armrest, which was propping his head up as he blew a kiss to Eyvor, who somehow blushed even more than before.

"Now, who else wishes to reveal their feelings for me? Don't be shy; every woman here has feelings for me; it's impossible not to, after all, just look at me." Added Elif with a narcissistic smile, flaunting his face while blowing his hair out of the way, causing the woman to blush slightly.

Unfortunately, they didn't get the chance to express their eternal love for me as the manager opened the door and entered the room, followed by several servants carrying various plates with a silver dome encompassing them, hiding the food.

"I deeply apologize for the wait, everyone; I hope the food can compensate for our lack of service." Stated the manager with a bow as he clapped his hands, prompting the servants that surrounded the table to step forward, placing plates on the table before removing the silver dome, revealing the food.

"Ahh, this smells delicious. Sister, come here; you must taste this with me." Remarked Sarah lightly with a satisfied expression as she looked at the plate, feeling hungry, before gesturing to Marley in the distance.

"Yes, from the smell alone, it was well worth the wait." Commented Birger with a nod while smiling as he grabbed the utensils and started to eat.

"Birger, say ahh." Said Nerthus with a small smile as he held her silver fork right before Birger, who, despite feeling embarrassed, opened his mouth and allowed her to feed him.

"I supposed going off my diet every now and then will be fine." Muttered Echo with a nod as she took a bite, causing a plethora of flavors to practically explode in her mouth.

"Haha, this is great!" Yelled Goliath with a mouthful of food, a disgusted look from Shelia.

"Despite how nonexistent his manners are, Goliath is correct; this dish is fantastic, even better than the one I had previously." Declared Shelia with a nod as she brushed her hair to the aside and ate with elegance, a stark contrast to Goliath.

"I wish someone was feeding me." Said Eyvor softly with a sad expression as she took a bite and looked at Elif and Elaine.

"Hmm, I must give credit, far better than I was expecting." Remarked Suscila with a nod, though she gnashed her teeth angrily whenever she glanced at Elif and Elaine, wishing she could trade places with that Royal Elf.

"How does it taste, Brother?" Asked Elaine with a lovely smile as she took a bite, yet instead of chewing it, she kissed Elif, passing the food from her mouth to his.

"Mhm, wonderful, but I don't think there is enough Elaine in; what do you think?" Replied Elif with a tender smile as he swallowed the food Elaine passed him before doing the same, transferring the food from his mouth to hers.

"Yes, you're right; there just isn't enough Elif in it, Brother." Stated Elaine with a slightly seductive smirk as the two continued to eat like this.
