After killing the eagle, I returned to leaning against the tree; as for the trio from before, well, they left the clearing after some time, probably to find a few more beasts to kill before the time limit ran out since there were only a few hours remaining.
Speaking of a time limit, for the remaining few hours, I basically lazed about; I had gone a little overboard during these seven days when killing beasts, so I was entirely confident I would take first place, so I just decided to relax for now. However, during this time, another beast offered themself up to me before the seven-day time limit concluded, and when it finally did, we were immediately teleported out of the dimension, yet instead of appearing on the shore like before, we were in an entirely different spot.
'Well, there is no need for this anymore.' Thought Elif lightly as he removed the suppressive device from his wrist, causing his middle Divine King cultivation base to return in full effect.
Being able not only to fly but also use my divine sense felt quite amazing after going a whole week without using either; from now on, I won't take either for granted, especially my divine sense; I might as well have been blind without it.
"Now then, where's my sweet and adorable little sister." Muttered Elif with a faint smirk as he spread his divine sense amongst the crowd, only to frown when he didn't find Elaine.
I found my three servants and even Sarah, all of who were making their way toward me, yet I didn't spot Elaine anywhere to be seen; instead of feeling worried, I simply smirked before closing my eyes and placing my hands behind my back. After a few moments of standing by my lonesome, I sensed a faint tremble from the space surrounding me, causing me to smirk while I swiftly vanished from my spot just as Elaine emerged from deep within the void, her sneak attack failing as I appeared behind her and wrapped around her waist.
"Hmph, I preferred it when your cultivation was suppressed, Brother." Muttered Elaine with a pout as she raised her head and looked at Elif, who chuckled in amusement before kissing her cheek.
"Heh, well, maybe if you're a good girl, I won't mind suppressing my cultivation base in the future; that way, you'll have me at your mercy, and I'll be forced to do whatever my powerful little sister says." Remarked Elif with a faint smirk as he seductively whispered into Elaine's ear, causing her eyebrows to rise while she pressed her plump butt against his body with a smirk.
"Hehe, why not have your way with me right now, Brother?" Asked Elaine with a seductive smirk as she felt Elif's crotch twitch in response to her actions, yet before either could take it further, Sarah, Marley, and Idonea suddenly cleared their throats.
"Your Highnesses." Said Marley, Idonea, and Sarah simultaneously as they stared at Elif and Elaine, causing them to click their tongues in annoyance.
"Tch." Muttered Elif and Elaine as their intimate actions mostly came to an end, causing Marley and Idonea to sigh while Sarah's expression twitched.
"So, um, what happens now?" Asked Ember lightly as she glanced between everyone, causing Elif to raise an eyebrow before pointing at the massive stele in the distance.
Almost as if on cue, shortly after I gestured to the stele in the distance, it released a soft glow while names starting from the bottom began to appear one after another while it slowly worked their way upwards; there were also numbers on either side of said name, the smaller number representing their ranking and I assume the larger number was how many pointed they accumulated throughout the seven days.
"Ho, Ember, you placed ninety-third? You must've been working quite hard. Good job." Said Elif with a faint smirk as he glanced at Ember's name on the large stele before outstretching his hand and rubbing her head, causing her to faintly blush while Elaine snorted.
"As for you two, what were you doing?" Asked Elif blandly as he glanced at Idonea and Marley, the latter awkwardly looking away while the former softly blushed in shame.
"W-We happened to encounter each other on the fourth day." "W-We also may or may not have ended up arguing a lot, your Highness." Replied Idonea and Marley, respectively, as they awkwardly avoided eye contact with Elif, whose face twitched.
"Hmph, well, you better start behaving otherwise…" Said Elif as he trailed off, causing Idonea and Marley to bow deeply with solemn expressions.
Shaking my head, I shifted my focus to Sarah, who was giving Elaine an envious look, which I found amusing.
"Good job for not dying, Sarah." Said Elif with a teasing smile, causing Sarah's face to twitch while she just sighed.
Chuckling, I glanced back at the stele, watching as names continued to appear, only to frown when I noticed Elaine's name appeared as nineteenth, causing me to gaze down at her.
"I know for a fact in this specific kind of trial, you could get within the top ten without much difficulty, so tell me, Elaine, why are you only ranked nineteenth? Was it a mistake on the Realm Sect's behalf? Do I need to have a word with Charuli?" Asked Elif as he playfully pinched Elaine's nose while his gaze hardened, only for her to shake her head.
"No, Brother; it's nothing to do with them; I had just grown bored halfway through and stopped trying." Replied Elaine lightly with a shake of her head, causing Elif to nod only to gently bite her ear.
"Everyone is going to think you're weak then, Elaine; as your Brother, I can't have people undermining your talents." Stated Elif with furrowed brows as he nibbled on Elaine's ear, causing her to smile while she shook her head.
"It's fine, Brother; besides, it's better for me that way anyways; the more they underestimate me, the easier it'll be to kill them." Said Elaine calmly with a faint smile, causing Elif to reluctantly nod while he stuck his finger into her mouth.
"Hmm, since you say so." Muttered Elif lightly as he removed his finger from Elaine's mouth before placing it within his own, sucking her saliva off it.
While enjoying the sweet taste of Elaine's mouth, the last ten or first ten names appeared on the stele, with Ivan and Baihu taking eight and seventh, respectively, which was more than I thought Ivan would ever get, but to be fair, this all based off the knowledge of when we encountered each other eight years ago.
However, when it reached the sixth place, Lucifer's name appeared on the stele, confusing everyone as next to no one knew of Lucifer since he was merely an independent cultivator, though there were quite a lot of independent cultivators on the rankings. The difference in points between seventh and sixth place was like night and day; Lucifer had more than double the number of points as Baihu, and that's probably what shocked most people.
Fifth place was Aurora, with slightly more points than Lucifer, while Comet, surprisingly, took fourth with nearly the same amount of points as Aurora; third place was Cordelia, and second was Tiamat; the two had slightly higher points than Comet and Lucifer. However, when second place was shown, Aurora, Tiamat, Cordelia, Lucifer, and Comet all looked at me; just as they anticipated, my name, unsurprisingly, took first place, and despite lazing about for the last few hours, there was a sizeable chunk between second and first.
While it may have seemed impressive, I'm doubtful any of us actually tried all that hard in the first place; with our Immortal Wills, this type of challenge was incredibly easy, so we most likely hardly tried.
"Tch, tree-hugging, knife-eared bastard!" Stated Tiamat loudly as she glared at Elif, who eyed her back in annoyance while raising his hand.
"Tsk, speak another word about me, Tiamat, and I'll rip your scales off one by one." Declared Elif solemnly as a large purple palm manifested in the air, it's might suppressing a vast majority of the disciples.
"Hmph; you think I'm scared of a mere pathetic Elf!?" Exclaimed Tiamat furiously as she glared at Elif while raising her hand, transforming it into a massive ethereal draconic claw.
Before either of us could attack each other, Kizen from seven days ago suddenly appeared, and with just the pressure of his Qi, it caused our techniques to destabilize before quickly collapsing; clicking my tongue, I ignored Tiamat while Elaine soothed me with tender kisses, which did wonders and made me quickly forget about that annoying lizard.
"Oh, I'm so going to paint your insides white." Muttered Elif eagerly as he whispered into Elaine's ear, causing her to smile as she sneakily placed her hand on his crotch, arousing him.
"Congratulations to everyone who managed to make the Realm Sect Rankings; your rewards will be sent to you in the following few days. However, first place will get a rather unique reward." Remarked Kizen as his voice resounded throughout the entire area before shifting his focus to Elif while waving his hand, causing a black medallion to suddenly appear.
"A Realm Sect Medallion that allows entrance to the Sect's sacred ground." Added Kizen as he floated the medallion over to Elif, who was too preoccupied with Elaine to even notice.
Spotting something floating in front of me, I raised my head and glanced at it, only to click my tongue when I saw what it was; it was a great reward, no doubt, but their actions of showing this to everyone were as clear as day.
"Tsk, annoying." Muttered Elif lightly as he glanced at Kizen before waving his hand, storing the black medallion within his dimension ring.
