Chapter 368: Difficult Fight

With the long gash appearing diagonally across Lourdes's chest, cutting her clothes as well, which revealed part of her breast, I tried to keep my eyes focused on her face, but it was hard to resist the allure of such a view from arguably the most beautiful woman in existence. Glancing at Lourdes's chest, I sucked in a breath of cold air while gazing at her exposed chest; it may not have been her true body, but even so, it was still a majestic sight.

'I wonder what her true breasts look like.' Thought Elif as he stared at Lourdes's chest while she cleaned the blood off her wound, only for her to look up at him with a faint smirk.

"Eyes are up here, descendant." Said Lourdes softly with a faint smirk as she glanced at Elif, who awkwardly coughed while his gaze shifted to her face.

"I could say the same for you; you think I haven't noticed your lustful eyes constantly wandering across my body?" Remarked Elif lightly as he slashed downwards, launching a long, purple sword wave in Lourdes's general direction, though she easily deflected before spinning and backslashing at him.

Eying the incoming bluish sword wave, I lowered Hokori and outstretched my hand, using just the power of my physique to block her attack, which would've been foolish for nearly every Elf in existence, but other than a small gash on my palm, I was left mostly unharmed.

'It has speed but no strength; it's merely meant to scare you and force you to react.' Mused Elif lightly as he glanced at his bloody palm before leaping into the air, only for a large golden palm to manifest above him.

"To be fair, descendant, when you're wearing such a revealing outfit, anyone is bound to gaze at what they can see. As for lustful eyes… I'll not comment on that." Remarked Lourdes lightly as her voice echoed across the room, though Elif paid her words little heed.

Seeing that all too familiar golden palm, I slashed Hokori upwards, cutting the palm in two, only for a series of black X-shaped sword waves to head right for me from all directions, yet they were noticeably weaker than they should, almost to the point where they wouldn't even be able to harm my physique. However, unlike before, these attacks felt slightly suspicious, so I didn't dare let them touch my heavenly physique and instead used Fairy Sword Dance.

The movement of my blade increased in speed the longer I used the technique; of course, with my proficiency, there was an upper limit to it, though I still moved plenty fast enough to destroy the barrage of X-shaped sword waves. While easily holding my ground amidst the relentless attacks, I gazed at my numerous attackers, spotting several Lourdes's; each one had the same cultivation base of a middle Divine King, yet even though that was the case, the strength of these attacks was felt more she should be an early Divine King.

However, seemingly learning these relentless attacks weren't working, they suddenly stopped before the five Lourdes lunged at me; furrowing my brows at their speedy arrival, I didn't attack them and waited until they got close, and only then did I make a move. Tightening my grip around the hilt of my sword, with the immense speed granted by Fairy Sword Dance, I slashed in all directions, launching hundreds of heavenly scars at my attackers; with them being all too close, they were forced to block a river of heavenly scars, and they could only hold on for a few moments before they were eventually consumed by the nearly infinite amount of heavenly scars.

Every time a Lourdes was defeated, I would stop attacking in that direction, allowing me to further focus on the other remaining ones, and that just turned into a downward spiral as they were easily taken care of; however, once only one Lourdes remained, I faintly smirked as I gazed at her as she attempted to remain firm within the sea of my attacks, her sword moving gracefully with the utmost precision as she redirected several of my sword waves, yet, even after she stopped suppressing her strength, she was eventually overwhelmed.

Stopping my relentless attacks, I left my stance, and without waiting, I thrust my hand forward, manifesting a purple palm as it surged towards where Lourdes stood, yet unfortunately, my follow-up attack was destroyed as she pierced right through it before emerging from the other side.

"Haa, so, how much Qi do you have remaining?" Asked Lourdes lightly as she appeared floating in the air with various minor cuts that littered her body, causing Elif to smirk in amusement.

"I could tell you, but I'd prefer to see your expression at the end of our fight when you realize how much Qi I still had remaining." Replied Elif with an amused smirk as he blew Lourdes kisses, causing Elaine to grind her teeth in anger.

Chuckling in amusement, I powerfully slashed my sword her way, prompting her to fly why while leaving behind rainbow-colored orbs of Qi that rapidly grew in density while slowly heading for me; although I raised an eyebrow at the orbs, I ignored them as they were moving at a snail's pace and continued to attack Lourdes.

To say Lourdes and I didn't engage in one of the most fun and difficult fights would be lying; I wasn't Goliath, but I did have a faint smirk most of the time as I fought Lourdes; as for her, it seemed she was happy to finally have some fun in the boredom of the spire. Our fight lasted a long time, and I witnessed a few techniques I'd never heard of or seen before. As for Lourdes's fighting style, it was kind of erratic, but after a while, I noticed there was a slight goal or pattern to it as she sought to keep me at a comfortable distance from her; I don't know why she did that, but the only thing I could think of the was the threat my physique posed when in close combat.

However, besides that, our fight increasingly got more brutal as injuries laced our beautiful bodies, yet even when covered in my blood, I still looked breathtakingly gorgeous. Our swords slashed through the air, launching techniques that sought to end our lives while we flew around the room, and although we left behind no damage to the walls, it was apparent to all that Lourdes and I were beings in a comply different league, a caliber that none from my generation could ever hope to reach, not by themselves.

I may indeed lack in some areas, especially my defensive capabilities, but why defend when I could simply overpower and overwhelm my opponents? The answer was as obvious as day to me… I'll dominate my generation.

Blocking Lourdes's X-shaped sword wave, I fired my own attack from the tip of Hokori as I shot a heavenly piece directly at her, destroying her attack before piercing her left side, causing her slight wince while swiftly dodging to the left, evading a Gyakusatsu that would've otherwise pierced her heart. Clicking my tongue, I was about to attack, but I saw several rainbow orbs of Qi near me, causing me to fly away, gaining distance from them, but while doing so, a golden palm slapped me out of the air, throwing me to the ground where Lourdess followed up with a bluish sword wave.

Blocking the incoming attacks with a purple palm, I swiftly flew off from the ground and surged the palm towards Lourdes while lunching numerous heavenly scars on either side, forcing her to face my attack head-on if she wished to escape, and, just like I hoped, she did just that. Cracks quickly formed on my purple palm, and emerging from the back was a very injured Lourdes, though that didn't stop her as she flew right for me, causing me to smirk as I stopped attacking.

Raising Hokori, I flashed Lourdes a faint smirk before powerfully slashing down; she did the same as our blades collided, but in the end, I won the exchange as I left a cut down her arm, forcing her back, yet she didn't retreat and pressed onward.

Neither of us spoke as our blades constantly clashed, causing an eruption of Qi to explode outwards every time our blades merely touched; although we didn't verbally speak, as swordmen, we were able to communicate through our sword, and nothing was left hidden.

Rolling my eyes at what she had just conveyed, I diverted her blade to the side before slashing it upwards, moving it further out of the way as I left another shallow cut across her chest, causing her face to twitch at what I had just said via our blades. However, she refuted by thrusting her sword forward, forcing me to block, yet at the last possibly second, she flipped her sword horizontally, allowing her to just barely avoid Hokori; instinctively backing away, I was tricked as she instead knocked my sword away before slashing at my chest, cutting off my straps and revealing my chest, which was covered with various wounds.

'Oh, I didn't realize you were so naughty, Lourdes, though I suppose you did have over a hundred children, so it only makes sense.' Mused Elif lightly as he wiped his chest with his thumb before licking the blood off it, causing the thousands of women watching him to swoon while the young Lourdes faintly blushed herself.
