The characteristics of the island

The island where Mizushi had arrived was small, surrounded by the sea and surrounded by dense tropical forest. The weather was hot and humid, with a lot of rain during the wet season. There were a few beaches, but most of the island was covered in forest.

The island was quite challenging as most resources were limited. However, Mizushi struggled to find the resources necessary for her family's survival. He spent most of his time exploring the forest in search of fruits, roots and animals to hunt.

The rainforest was dense and impenetrable, so Mizushi needed to be always alert to avoid the dangers it offered, such as poisonous snakes, spiders, and other wild animals.

In addition to hunting and gathering food, Mizushi also looked for sources of fresh water. Rainwater was the main source of drinking water on the island, but he also found a stream deep in the forest that provided clean, fresh water.

Despite Mizushi's best efforts, his family faced many hardships. The island was often hit by tropical storms, which made it difficult to gather food and find fresh water. Furthermore, the rainforest was a hostile environment, full of dangerous animals and tropical diseases. Mizushi and her family had to deal with malaria and other tropical diseases.

Another major difficulty faced by Mizushi and his family was the lack of adequate shelter. They built a simple hut out of branches and leaves, but it didn't offer much protection from storms and strong winds.

Mizushi sat with his wife, Laís, and their son Dagurasu under the shade of a tree, looking at the blue horizon of the sea.

"Mizushi, how long will we have to stay on this island?" asked Laís, worried.

"I don't know, my dear. We have to wait until we can fix the boat and find a safe route to find a better city.", replied Mizushi.

"But how long will this take?" asked Dagurasu, looking at his father with curious eyes.

"I don't know, my son. It could take days, weeks or even months. But we have to be patient and focus on finding resources to survive while we're here", replied Mizushi, putting his hand on his son's shoulder.

"What can we do to improve our situation here?" asked Laís, with a worried expression.

"We have to explore the island and find sources of fresh water, hunt for meat and fish, and find materials to repair the boat. We can also build a hut to protect ourselves from the rain and sun," said Mizushi.

"I can help collect fruits and nuts," offered Dagurasu excitedly.

"Yes, my son, you can help. We need to work together to survive here", said Mizushi, smiling at his son.

"But when we get the boat fixed, where will we go?" asked Lais.

"Let's go to a city that is safe, where we can have access to medical services, schools for Dagurasu, and more job opportunities. I want our family to have a better life," replied Mizushi, looking at his wife with determination.

"I understand, my love. Let's do whatever it takes to have a better life", said Laís, with a determined smile.

The biggest difficulty faced by Mizushi and his family on the island was the lack of food during the dry season. The island didn't have many food sources, and during the dry season, many of the fruits and vegetables they depended on weren't available.

Mizushi and her family had to be creative in finding alternative foods, such as hunting and fishing, and using food preservation techniques to ensure they had enough food to survive until the next rainy season.

The lack of potable water during the dry season was also a problem, and Mizushi and her family had to collect rainwater and filter it to make it safe for consumption. These difficulties were compounded by the fact that they were isolated on the island, with no access to outside supplies or help.

Mizushi approached Laís with a worried expression on her face. "Honey, we need to talk," he said. Lais looked at him curiously.

"What happened, Mizushi?" "Many things are happening," he said, sighing. "We've been facing a lot of difficulties on this island, and the biggest one is the lack of potable water. That creek we found a few months ago is drying up, and I have no idea where we can find more water."

Laís looked at him sadly. "This is very concerning. What can we do?"

"I'm going to try to dig a well," said Mizushi. "But that could take time and there's no guarantee we'll find enough water to survive."

Laís held Mizushi's hand and said: "We'll get through this together. I'm by your side, no matter what happens."

Mizushi smiled at her and hugged her. "I know that we can do this together. We need to keep fighting and keep hope alive."

Mizushi found the creek while exploring the island for resources. He followed the sound of running water and ended up finding the creek hidden among the forest trees. At the time, the creek seemed to be a reliable source of water, and Mizushi was relieved to have found this natural source of fresh drinking water.

However, over time, the drought seemed to have affected the source and now Mizushi was worried about the lack of water for his family. Mizushi and Dagurasu were walking through the forest when they saw a small clearing. Curious, they decided to explore the place and soon found a fruit tree loaded with red and juicy fruits.

"Look, father, what beautiful fruits!" said Dagurasu excitedly. "Yes, they're great to eat. Let's pick some to take back to the hut", replied Mizushi, picking up a branch with the fruits.

While picking the berries, Mizushi and Dagurasu noticed that the clearing was surrounded by various medicinal plants. Mizushi, who had a background in natural medicine, was very excited about the discovery.

"Dagurasu, this discovery is very important. We can use these plants to treat various diseases and injuries," said Mizushi, picking up one of the plants to show her son.

"That's cool, dad! We can take some back to the hut and use them when we need to", suggested Dagurasu. Mizushi agreed with the idea and they took some plants, being happy with the discovery that could help them in several ways.
