Feng Yuansheng and Li Ming entered the grand lobby of the towering building, with Li Ming holding Yun Cheng in his arms. The marble floor gleamed, polished to a reflective shine, and the chandelier overhead glistened like diamonds.
Yun Cheng's eyes grew wide with wonder as he gazed around the vast space. "Uncle Ming, this place is so big!" he exclaimed in amazement.
Li Ming chuckled in response. "Indeed, it is, Young Master Yun. Please wait in the waiting hall until the meeting ends," he advised.
Yun Cheng nodded in agreement, and Li Ming promptly instructed the accompanying bodyguard to look after the young master while they attended to their business.
As they walked through the lobby, Xie Alice's eyes caught sight of them. Her heart skipped a beat with excitement, as she had been longing for an opportunity to meet Feng Yuansheng for a long time. However, she restrained herself, not wanting to come across as too eager.
Meanwhile, the female employees of the company couldn't help but swoon over Feng Yuansheng's dashing appearance. He strode with an air of confidence and authority that made them weak in the knees.
One of the employees whispered to her colleague, "Have you ever seen anyone as handsome as Feng Yuansheng? He's like a prince!"
The other employee giggled in response, "I know right! I can't believe he's actually here in person. I can barely contain my excitement."
As they passed by, some of the employees tried to catch Feng Yuansheng's attention with coy glances and subtle smiles. However, he remained focused on his destination, oblivious to their admiration.
As they entered, several people stood up from their seats and greeted them respectfully. Feng Yuansheng nodded curtly in acknowledgment, while Li Ming responded with a polite smile.
"Please, take a seat," said Xie Alice, the woman at the head of the table, gesturing towards the empty chairs.
Feng Yuansheng took a seat at the center of the table, while Li Ming sat to his right, with Yun Cheng perched on his lap.
Xie Alice cleared her throat and began the meeting, "Good morning, everyone. As you are all aware, we have called this meeting to discuss the company's latest project. I will now provide an overview of the project and its objectives."
As Xie Alice spoke, she couldn't help but glance at Feng Yuansheng from time to time. She had been waiting for this moment for a long time, wanting to impress him with her skills and expertise. But she also felt a bit nervous, not wanting to appear too eager or fawning over him like some of the other female employees.
Feng Yuansheng listened intently, occasionally nodding in agreement or asking clarifying questions. Li Ming watched on with admiration, knowing that his boss was not only a powerful leader but also a skilled listener and collaborator.
The meeting progressed smoothly, with everyone contributing their insights and suggestions. Xie Alice made sure to include Feng Yuansheng in the discussion, asking for his opinion and feedback.
As the meeting drew to a close, Xie Alice thanked everyone for their time and efforts, and the attendees dispersed, returning to their respective duties.
Once the meeting was over and the deal was sealed, Feng Yuansheng and Li Ming made their way towards the exit. But just as they were about to leave, Xie Alice stepped forward, her heart beating fast.
"Third Master Feng, It's been so long since we last met," she said, trying to keep her voice steady.
Feng Yuansheng gave her a polite nod, but his expression was cold and distant. Sensing his lack of interest, Xie Alice quickly pulled out a watch from her purse.
"Please, take this as a token for our friendship," she said, trying to hand it to him.
Feng Yuansheng didn't even glance at it. "I'm sorry, but I cannot accept gifts from strangers," he replied. Bluntly, refusing any relationship.
Li Ming felt a wave of fear wash over him. He knew his boss had a short temper, and he feared that this interaction would set him off.
But Feng Yuansheng simply turned around and began to walk away. Li Ming breathed a sigh of relief and quickly followed.
However, Xie Alice was not deterred. She stopped Li Ming and tried to ask him to give the watch to his boss.
"Secretary Li. Can you give this gift to Third Master Feng for me?" she asked, in her authoritative voice.
Xie Alice's face fell as Li Ming shook his head. "I'm sorry, but I cannot do anything that would go against my boss's wishes," he said firmly, before quickly leaving the room.
Alice was left standing alone, feeling angry and frustrated. She had hoped that Li Ming, being Feng Yuansheng's secretary, could help sway his opinion in her favor. But it seemed that even he was loyal to his boss above all else.
As she watched Li Ming disappear out the door, Alice couldn't help but seethe with resentment. She vowed that one day, she would become Third Madam Feng and teach Li Ming a lesson he would never forget.

Yun Cheng was engrossed in playing with his tablet in the waiting hall, while waiting for his third uncle and Uncle Li Ming to finish their meeting. He looked up excitedly as they finally walked in, but to his surprise, Feng Yuansheng didn't say anything to him and just left. Confused, Yun Cheng wondered. Had his third uncle forgotten about him?
Just as he was about to feel really sad, Li Ming swiftly picked him up and ran after Feng Yuansheng. "Don't worry Young Master Yun, your Third Uncle hasn't forgotten about you. He's just in a hurry," Li Ming assured him, his voice full of warmth and kindness.
Yun Cheng held on tightly to Li Ming as they followed Feng Yuansheng down the hallway. He couldn't help but feel a little bit scared and overwhelmed by the fast pace at which they were moving. But Li Ming's comforting presence gave him a sense of security.
As they finally caught up to Feng Yuansheng, Yun Cheng saw the serious look on his third uncle's face and wondered what was going on. Li Ming held onto Yun Cheng and stood respectfully to the side, waiting for Feng Yuansheng's next move.
When Feng Yuansheng and Li Ming were in the middle of their meeting, Feng Yuansheng had received a new message from Tang Xiang, one of his trusted subordinates. When he opened the message and his expression turned grim.
Watching the change in his boss expression, Li Ming asked, "What's going on, boss?"
"Yun Cheng is in danger," Feng Yuansheng replied, his voice strained with worry.
Li Ming was stunned. He looked at the little bundle he was carrying and then at his boss.
Feng Yuansheng quickly forwarded the message he received from Tang Xiang to Li Ming. After reading through the content, Li Ming was stunned.
"Contact the security team and tell them to increase their surveillance." Feng Yuansheng barked his orders. The bodyguard around them quickly went into action.
"What time is our flight?" Feng Yuansheng asked Li Ming.
"We have about four hours until our flight," Li Ming replied.
Feng Yuansheng frowned, not happy with the news. " We need to head to the airport," he said firmly.
With that Feng Yuansheng quickly took Yun Cheng from Li Ming and went into the car. Despite feeling a bit confused by the sudden turn of events, Yun Cheng was happy to be carried by his Third Uncle. So warm!

In a dimly lit room, the leader of the assassination team sat hunched over a table, studying a file with intense concentration. His eyes flicked back and forth as he read through the details of their mission - the target, the location, the logistics. It was a routine he had performed countless times before, but today something was different. He could feel a sense of unease creeping up on him, a feeling that something was amiss.
Suddenly, the door to the room burst open, and one of his subordinates rushed in, panting heavily. "Boss, we've got a problem," he gasped.
The leader looked up sharply, his eyes narrowing. "What problem?" he demanded.
"It's Feng Yuansheng," the subordinate said. "He knows about our plan. He's onto us."
The leader slammed his fist on the table, his anger boiling over. "How is that possible?" he snarled. "We've been so careful. How could he have found out?"
"I don't know, boss," the subordinate said, fear edging into his voice. "But we have to act fast. Feng Yuansheng and his nephew Yun Cheng are due to arrive at the airport in one hour. If we don't capture him before they get there, we'll be exposed."
The leader's mind raced, trying to come up with a plan. He knew that failure was not an option. If they were caught, it would not only mean the end of their mission but the end of their lives.
"Get everyone ready," he barked at his subordinate. "We'll intercept them on the road to the airport. And make sure that nobody escapes."
