Jiang Yan entered the house and greeted the family members. Madam Tian, who was sitting in the living room, stood up as soon as she saw Jiang Yan and walked towards her.
"Where were you all day? Why didn't you tell me where you were going?" Madam Tian asked in an angry tone.
Jiang Yan remained calm and replied, "I went out to do some shopping, I didn't think it was necessary to inform you."
Madam Tian's face turned red with anger. "How dare you talk back to me like that! You should have informed me before leaving the house. You are still a young girl and you should learn to respect your elders," she scolded.
Jiang Yan simply ignored her and walked past her towards her room. Madam Tian followed her, still shouting. "Don't you dare ignore me! You are disrespecting me and this family. You will be punished for this!"
Jiang Yan continued to ignore her and went into her room, closing the door behind her. Madam Tian stood outside her door for a while, fuming with anger, before finally storming off downstairs.
As Jiang Yan retreated to her room, she could hear the muffled voices. She knew that her father who had been ignoring her for one year had come home. For some reason, she was no longer upset at her father's indifference, nor could she bring herself to care. Instead, she busied herself with the new laptop she got today, planning for the new business she will start with Wu Changwei.
In the hallway, Madam Tian glared at Jiang Zhihao. "Where have you been?" she demanded, her voice sharp with anger. "Do you know what your so called daughter has done?"
Jiang Zhihao sighed wearily. "What has she done now, Jing?" he asked, his tone resigned.
"She disappeared for hours, without a word to anyone," Madam Tian said, her hands balled into fists at her sides. "I asked her where she went, but she ignored me and went straight to her room."
Jiang Zhihao shook his head. "She's a grown woman, Tian. She doesn't need to report her every move to us."
Madam Tian snorted. "She's still under my roof, and she will show me respect," she spat. "I won't tolerate her insolence any longer."
Jiang Zhihao didn't reply, knowing that it would only escalate the situation. Instead, he silently made his way to his study, where he could escape the tension and try to forget the constant bickering that plagued his household since the day Jiang Yan was born.
However, Madam Tian wasn't going to calm down that easily. She immediately picked up her phone and called her brother Tian Jun. He was always willing to help her with her schemes against Jiang Yan.
"Hello, sister. What's the matter?" Tian Jun answered the phone.
"Jiang Yan is getting too big for her boots," Madam Tian said, her voice dripping with venom. "She thinks she can do whatever in this house. I need to teach her a lesson."
Tian Jun could sense the tension in his sister's voice as she ranted about Jiang Yan's behavior. He knew that Madam Tian could be quick to anger and he needed to calm her down before she did something rash.
"Sister, please calm down," he said, trying to soothe her. "You don't need to worry. I have taken care of the situation."
Madam Tian raised an eyebrow, still fuming with anger. "What have you done?" she demanded.
Tian Jun took a deep breath and explained his plan. "I have made some special arrangements. Jiang Yan won't be able to attend university this year. You can be assured of that. This way you will be able to control her."
Madam Tian's eyes widened in surprise. She couldn't believe that her brother had managed to pull off such a feat. "How did you manage to do that?" she asked, curious despite herself.
Tian Jun grinned, feeling pleased with himself. "Let's just say I have some connections," he said cryptically.
Madam Tian was impressed. She knew that her brother was always willing to help her, but she had never expected him to go this far. "Thank you, brother," she said gratefully. "You always know how to take care of things."
Tian Jun chuckled. "That's what brothers are for," he said, happy to have been able to help his sister.
As Tian Jun ended the call with his sister, he couldn't shake the thought of Jiang Yan's reaction to the news. He knew that Madam Tian would be pleased with the outcome, but he also felt a sense of satisfaction for what he had done.
Jiang Yan had been a thorn in his side since she had arrived at the house, and he was glad to have finally dealt with her. After all, Jiang Yan had almost blown his cover in this house, and he couldn't just let her be.
He knew that he had done what he thought was best for his sister and their family, but he couldn't ignore the nagging feeling of regret that he felt deep down inside.

Feng Yuansheng was sitting at his desk, poring over reports from his various business ventures. Yun Cheng, his young nephew, was seated nearby, diligently working on a gift he had bought from Country A. Feng Yuansheng had decided to bring Yun Cheng along with him after the assassination attempt in Country A; it was much safer to keep an eye on him if he was in front of Feng Yuansheng.
Just then, there was a knock on the door. Li Ming, Feng Yuansheng's trusted assistant, entered along with Liang Hao, who wore a playful smile on his face.
"Boss, I found out who was behind the assassination attempt on Young Master Yun," Liang Hao announced, his tone triumphant.
Feng Yuansheng arched an eyebrow and motioned for Li Ming to hand over the file. He skimmed over it, his expression growing more serious with each passing moment.
"This is unacceptable," he muttered under his breath. His eyes turned cold at the revelation. Though he had some doubts, he didn't think it would be true.
Liang Hao sensed his boss's anger and hesitated before speaking up, "Boss, what should we do now?"
Feng Yuansheng paused for a moment before replying, "Monitor them. Do it carefully, without causing any unnecessary attention."
Liang Hao and Li Ming exchanged a quick glance, silently acknowledging their boss's orders.
"Understood, boss," Liang Hao said, his voice steady and professional.
Li Ming added, "I have already sent a few people on their trail."
Feng Yuansheng nodded, soon shifting his attention to his own work.
Liang Hao suddenly noticed Yun Cheng's activities and couldn't resist walking over to him.
"What are you doing, little one?" he asked, peering over Yun Cheng's shoulder.
"I'm making a bracelet for my pretty sister," Yun Cheng replied, his eyes bright with excitement.
Liang Hao looked at the little boy curiously and asked, "Who is this pretty sister you are talking about, Little Man?"
Yun Cheng's eyes sparkled as he exclaimed, "She saved my life in the mountain! She is really pretty and kind!"
Liang Hao chuckled at the boy's enthusiasm and asked, "Oh, is that so? Tell me more about this pretty sister."
Yun Cheng began to describe the events that led to the encounter with the pretty sister, and Liang Hao listened with interest.
After the story, Liang Hao turned to Yun Cheng and asked, "What about the Beautiful sister? Are you not making anything for her?"
Yang Xiaoli, the wife of Feng Yuanshuai and sister-in-law of Feng Yuansheng, was the "Beautiful sister" that Yun Cheng was referring to. Despite being his First Aunt, Yun Cheng had stuck with the nickname "Beautiful sister" when he first met Yang Xiaoli. This, however, was a source of annoyance for Feng Yuanshuai, who is Yun Cheng's "First uncle".
Yun Cheng's face fell as he realized he had forgotten to bring anything for the Beautiful sister. Liang Hao could see the conflict on the little boy's face and offered some reassurance, "Don't worry, Yun Cheng. We can figure something out."
Yun Cheng brightened up again as he exclaimed, "Thank you, Uncle Hao!"
Liang Hao suddenly had a realization and turned to his boss Feng Yuansheng, "Hey boss, will this pretty sister become your girlfriend in the future?"
Feng Yuansheng paused for a moment and then continued skimming through the file, "I have no intention of dating anyone at the moment, Liang Hao."
Liang Hao grinned mischievously. "Well, maybe you should consider this pretty sister for yourself, boss," he teased.
Feng Yuansheng ignored Liang Hao and his words altogether.
Liang Hao turned his attention back to Yun Cheng. "So, little man, do you think this pretty sister would like some of my desserts?"
Yun Cheng's face lit up with excitement as he nodded vigorously. "Yes, she would love them!"
Liang Hao smiled and turned to Feng Yuansheng. "Boss, can I take some time off tomorrow to visit this pretty sister and bring her some desserts?"
Feng Yuansheng finally replied, "I think you are too free."
Liang Hao suddenly felt the temperature of the room turning cold, "Hehe boss, I am joking. I am busy, I am very busy."
Li Ming who was listening to the conversation started sweating and hoped that Liang Hao would stop asking such foolish questions, lest he angers Feng Yuansheng. Liang Hao knew Feng Yuansheng's nature, trembled before turning to help Yun Cheng.
Boss seems too protective of this pretty sister. I need to share this news with Boss's brothers!! Hehe!!
