Ryan died.

He died in the unfortunate event of getting caught up in another person's assassination attempt.

Ultimately transmigrating into his sister's trashy, dark, edgy novel.

Ryan took over the body of the same person who constantly stood in the protagonist's way, despised by the world as the ultimate villain. And the very antagonist who annihilated the protagonist, and died soon after.

Looking back at the original body owner's tragic ending, Ryan decided to do the bare minimum to ensure the world he now lives in doesn't fall apart.

"Saving humanity is the least of my concerns."

He closed his eyes. Something wasn’t quite right about this whole situation, and the characters acting weirdly was just the start of it all.

Rows of glass tubes and metal scraps littered the floor as Professor Rana ran in and out of an empty room containing a small bed and a broken sink, writing down notes on a large holographic screen that almost encircled the interior.

Her eyes were bloodshot from overwork, and her hair was disheveled and in disarray; however, it wasn't at all shocking.

What shocked them was Noah's dismantled body, with his head, eyes, and internal organs removed, his torso severed apart.

It was plastered with notes all over the blue screen, which caught them off guard and made Amelia feel sick to her stomach.

However, Ryan didn't recognize the woman's appearance, but he certainly knew her identity and didn't expect the sight in front of him.

"What is going on, Ryan? Your brother..." Amelia's surprised and hesitant voice resounded.
