How did it feel?

"Where am I?" Ryan muttered, a trace of confusion in his golden eyes as he looked ahead of him.

Unable to see and barely able to sense anything, he closed his eyes lightly before opening them again. He channeled a bit of energy into his eyes, and the extent of his vision immediately transformed.

The shapes of objects and auras of things surrounding him became apparent, and his eyes darted around. After a moment of contemplation, he concluded that contrary to his thoughts, he wasn't in the place he thought he would find himself in. It looked more like a luxurious office room.

"Well, this is unexpected," he murmured to himself, his mind racing to make sense of the situation.

He was tied to a luxurious chair; a cold metallic sound rang, and the feeling of a firm solid object constrained his previously numb hands, sending a blood-chilling pain with every twist of his fingers.
