It was suppose to be a date

"No," In a one-word reply, Ryan shook his head. He had never fallen in love before.

"No one." Amelia was doubtful.

"No one at all." Ryan shook his head again.

He had completely shut his heart, and aside from Amelia, he didn't think he could hold the same type of affection he had for her for someone else ever again.

"Why?" Bringing her chair closer, Amelia asked.

"I don't know, I just never had the time to think about it-" Ryan paused. He looked into Amelia's sparkling eyes and at the bracelet that had lost its shape, happily hugging his entire body.

"Ahh, before I came to Erou, I had someone."

"Oho," Amelia's ears perked up.

"She never stopped reminding me that she liked me a lot."

"A middle school sweetheart?"

"No, she was a work colleague." He explained, "I didn't particularly dislike her, but I didn't particularly like her either."
