Lily and I started our walk upstairs to his bedroom again. I took my magnifying glass out and started searching over the floor, and I noticed something odd. The mattress was lifted a little up and the sheets were not in right place as Oliver place them.
I slowly pulled the mattress up and found a small piece of thread stuck on the corner of the bed. "Nora! Come up!"
"What happened?" Nora said while gasping for air, maybe she did run faster than I thought she would. I gestured her close and handed her the magnify in glass. A big smile spread on our lips.
Nora pulled the thread out carefully and put it in the evidence bag. "We can take DNA from this little thread. Let's just wish this tread belongs to the killer not to Oliver." We continued our search but found nothing besides that phone and thread.
Leads were small but giving many hopes. Till we were done it was 6am. I felt like something was missing, then it striked to me, that tune! "Nora did you found anything from that mobile?"
"No, he did a good job of keep it very secure and proof free."
"Give me that phone." Nora nodded and handed it to me. I unlocked it and copied all data in my phone, handing the phone back to Nora.
"Alex think you can give me your car?" Instead of answering my question he threw car keys at me. Catching them I walked out of Oliver's house. As soon as I stepped out the house the chilly wind bite my skin.
I got in Alex's car and turned the heater on, I got the car out of the parking spot and started my drive to a music psychologist. Reaching my destination, I grabbed my ID card and got out of the car.
Entering the building, I slammed my ID on the receptionist desk. She looked up at me and guided me the way to Mr. Smit's cabin and left. I knocked on the door.
"Come in." A friendly voice came from inside I entered the room, a smile toying on my lips. I saw a man who was sitting on his desk writing something. Papers were scattered all over his desk.
"Hello Mr. Musician." His hands stopped writing, looking up at me he smiled. It was the same silly smile he always gave me when I called him by that name.
"And hello there, Miss. Detective. Is that hobby still there or you gave up?" I showed him my ID, which was issued by government.
"I'm successful detective and offical one too." I pulled the chair and took a sit. Not wasting anymore time I came to point, placing my phone on table, I played the tune we found on the mobile we got at Oliver's house.
Jacob closed his eyes for few moments before standing up from his chair, I splashed water on his face making him gain his sense. He was startled.
"Where did you found this tune?"
"Somewhere I shouldn't have found it. Think you can tell me something about this tune?" Jacob nodded.
He pulled his laptop towards him and searched something. Getting up from his chair he took a sit next to me, showing me the content. It said tune hypnotism.
"This is known as tune hypnotism. A person can make other person do anything by making him hear this tune. If it is used in good way then a person who can't draw will draw like an painter. A person who can't sing will sing like a singer. But if this is used in bad way then a person can make anyone hurt someone. This is a rare tune, and no this is not a psychopath, this is a person who is very intelligent. She made this tune with very good concentration and dedication. Give me some time to tell you more things." I nodded and got up.
"Ok then contact me when you find anything more." I write my contact number on one of the near by pages.
"Ok, and you leaving soon? Have some coffee with me?"
"Some other time. Have to go back and do some more work, you know. Detectives never rest haha." I laughed out and opened the door tto find his receptionist. I frowned a little, exiting the cabin and building, getting into car, I started to drive in opposite way again.
Line of thought was never ending, and the week was up. New murder will be done by tomorrow. I didn't knew what to do and how to stop. He said that "I'll kill an actress this time." But how to find her? My head was nearly spinning, ringing of my phone pulled me out of my thoughts. I looked at the screen to find Fred's name on it.
"Hello."
"Hello, where are you Loveena? I'm standing out of your apartment but you are not here."
"I was out of town for some reason, why?"
"I was here to make sure you are ok, when I came here I found a package left out of door for you."
"Package..?" I frowned a little. "Don't touch it, keep it where it is. I'm reaching in 5 minutes!"
I hanged the phone up and hit on the accelerator. Reaching my apartment I nearly ran upstairs, Fred was standing there, he smiled a little at me. I saw the gift box on the doorstep, putting the gloves on, and picked that box up. Examining it, I looked down at the corner of my door. A small smile cracked on my lips, I opened the door inviting Fred in.
I placed the box on the table, "If you want you can make some coffee for yourself and some for me too." I mouthed please, a giggle escaping from both of us.
Fred went to the kitchen, my smile dropped and I licked my lips, bracing myself for what unknown disaster I might see after I open the box. I was sure something nasty was going to be infront of me.
