CHAPTER 47 - STRANGE MAGIC.

Janice was shambling around the kitchens, busy as ever as she made preparations for the master's breakfast at the dining halls.

At that moment, Fiona came hobbling into the stores where she currently was, in her usual noisy manner.

"Mornin' Jan. We have a lot to talk about, you know." She said.

Janice sighed. She'd been putting Fifi off on this talk for a while now. It seemed she could no longer avoid it. Sighing, she quickly filled some jugs with milk and set them on a tray alongside another jug filled with honey.

"Uh, I'm a little busy right now, Fiona." She stalled, taking up the tray.

"Nuh-uh." Fiona countered, getting in her way. "You're not going anywhere until I say you are."

"Damnit, Fiona! You're going to get me in serious trouble!" Janice grumbled, carefully setting down the tray. She couldn't help but let out a giggle as nosy Fiona dragged her to sit with her at the table.

"You didn't tell me you knew Bren Foster. Why?" She quizzed.
